Update on previous review Wobbly
Update: I called the Manufacturer and was able to speak with the parts Manager. We were able to troubleshoot what part needed replacement and the company sent it to my home via UPS the next day. I received this chair over the weekend and was excited to put it in use on Monday morning. Pretty simple to put together and quite comfortable. I used it for 4 hours this morning and the base is wobbly all of a sudden. Maybe user error on my part when I put it together but there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the base so that it stops wobbling. If I wanted a balance ball, I would have ordered one!

One solid, comfortable chair
I needed a really sturdy but comfortable drafting type chair for our church. Did a lot of looking and found this one with great reviews. Arrived in 2 days. Simple and easy assembly and adjustments. I was very surprised by the build quality and how rock solid, but comfortable that this chair is. Everyone who has used this chair loves it! Removed the casters and replaced them with heavy duty Bell chair glides (they fit perfectly) as we did not want this chair to move when on carpet.

Awesome, just a few key points
First of all, let's start out by saying im 235 lbs I sit in this chair on the daily, the chair I had before had absolutely no support for my back and always gave me hip pain This chair is so awesome, I love that I can wheel around the office, grab a phone, grab my notes, etc. Gives me alot of cushion for MY cushion, if you know what I mean I don't have the hip pain anymore which is great, very comfortable to sit in, although when I wear shorts my thighs do stick to the leather so I gotta gently peel em off The back support is amazing as well, I can finay relax a bit and it holds me up just fine I love that it can be used for a high bar like this one for our front desk but I also love that you can put it all the way down to sit at a normal lower desk, it does have the foot rail but that thing does ever stay in place, so it will be wobbly at the bottom but I really don't care too much about that. This chair was also not too expensive as some of the other ones I was interested in, I love that it doesn't have arm rests, makes it easier to sit in with my wide hips, I also sit sideways on this thing too haha just for fun! It also came pretty quickly which was nice since the chair I had before had seen better days All my coworkers like it too The only complaint I have is that the wheels don't lock, and when you try to sit in this chair it will try to roll away from you, so you do have to make sure you are holding onto the chair and balancing haha overall very good. If there are any updates on this I will update it but honestly I think this chair is great

Good solid drafting chair
This is exactly what I needed to move between my drafting height desk and my easel. The seat is wide and somewhat flat which is great if you like sitting cross legged like me. It's not super heavy so moving it around isn't difficult. The only thing that tripped me up was installing the metal piece that attaches the backrest to the seat, so definitely double check you're installing it in the right direction, but other than that assembly was super easy and quick.

Nice chair
This was pretty easy to assemble. I got this to replace a non-rolling chair in my art studio. The chair is comfortable and I have it set fairly high which makes it easier to transition from sitting to standing.

Surprisingly good chair!
You never really know what you're going to get when you order from Amazon, but this drafting chair exceeding my low expectations, lol. It was easy to put together and feels very sturdy, strong and supportive. I had a moment of panic when it looked like the two washers were not included, but upon further investigation, found they had already been assembled, so if this happens to you, don't freak out, they are probably there, just already installed.

Looks different than the product picture
I just got this product delivered last night after ordering it two days before sorry haven't had much of a chance to give it a fair shot. It's easy enough to put together, took me about 10 minutes. However, I was surprised got the foot rest is COMPLETELY different than the one in the product photos. It's not an all-around ring, but more like footrest you hang your feet from in the front? I don't know how to describe it. I sat in it while working at home today and it seems all right so far. I will update the review once I get a better idea. I'm not sure if this alternative footrest will impede the chair's functionality in the long run.

Double check the diagram when assembling. Overall, comfy chair.
Overall pleased with this chair on the first day. Had a little trouble with assembly because I didn't look at the diagram close enough. If you're having trouble attaching the back support, make sure you're not trying to put it on upside down like I did. The slot goes at the top. Lol. The knob that comes separately with the screws is the small knob that attaches the back rest. Also, there is a cardboard tube inside the foot rest. Make sure you take that out before assembly. The seat has a slight wobble to it when fully assembled, but I don't feel unsafe or uncomfortable. I do wish the seat was a little bit longer but I think it will work well for my uses. The lumbar support is about perfect for my back when I lean back against it.

I very love it! I've try a lot of drafting chair and this one have the gold price. The foot ring is large, adjustable, the seat are depht, I can add a extra ergonomic back rest if I want, and it's rare with this type of chair. At the begining, I regreted the lack of arm rest, but I discovered the slop at the back and under the seat, I can grap them and place me easly. Buy it, you will not regret!

I purchased this chair for my wife who has a standing desk to do her artwork. I’m a Millwright and I’ve had over 50 years of experience with mechanical things. My review: Pros 1. The chair is fairly well designed and most* of the construction is slightly better than average. 2. Although the packaging is barely adequate, nothing was damaged during shipping. 3. Instructions are fairly straight forward and most* of the assembly was easy to do. 4. I ordered a set of the “roller blade” casters because I couldn’t tell if the standard wheels would mark up our hardwood floors. No regrets on that point; the roller blade casters are a very practical upgrade, and easy to install. Cons 1. *One part had a small factory defect of major consequence; i.e. for most customers, they would have discovered at Step 3 (of a 4 step assembly) that they were not able to fully assemble the chair, and then they would have had an extremely time-consuming job of taking it apart, re-packing the chair and shipping a very heavy and bulky box back to Amazon. I suspect Amazon would have honoured a swap in my case, but for me, it was easier to just fix it myself. 2. The defect is a missing “threaded boss” on the L-shaped bracket that holds the back to the bottom of the seat. (See photos) It acts like a “nut” for the thread shaft of the “#11 Large Adjustment Knob” to screw into when mounting the bracket. A similar boss is welded to the vertical section of the bracket; this one for mounting the chair back to the bracket. I used a hex nut and some washers instead, but due to the extremely confined space that they fit into, assembly was very difficult, even for a mechanic; had to use masking tape to hold a washer in place during assembly; too tight to even get a wrench in to hold the nut. 3. One reason I picked this chair was that I assumed the two knobs would actually allow for adjustment of the seat back up/down and in/out. The instructions actually call them “Adjustment Knobs” but there is, if fact, no adjustment possible. The part that would allow for this (the slotted sections on the bracket) is limited by a cheap plastic cover that surrounds the bracket. This cover serves no purpose other than “style” and if you yank it off you’d get a small amount of vertical adjustment for the seat back and very little horizontal adjustment. (To be fair, the manufacturer does not list “back adjustment” as a feature. However, it’s obvious from the slotted holes that these adjustments were, at some point, part of the design.) 4. The foot ring is sturdy and locks securely, but it does not travel up/down with the seat. I made a permanently mounted footrest for my wife’s desk and so for us, this a not a problem. 5. The up/down control was sticky and erratic; hoping this will loosen up with use and/or some lube. 6. Also missing in the kit were parts 12 and 13; simple washers and easy to replace. In summary I’d say this is a fairly good chair for the money. Factory defects happen everywhere and this particular one would have been hard for an overworked Q/C Inspector to catch; just a major PITA if you’re on the receiving end. If the seller would like to compensate me for time wasted fixing their defect, that would be nice. If you order the same chair, look for the two threaded bosses, welded to the bracket, BEFORE you start putting it together. Don’t expect full adjustability of the seat back and get the good casters if you want to protect your floors.

This chair was great for 15 months use as a home office chair until it broke. The part that anchors the seat to the stand broke, and now when I sit on the seat it wobbles (the seat tilts to either side whenever I shift my weight). Very disappointing!

Je suis vraiment très confortable sur cette chaise
