I bought this amp almost 3 years ago now. It has been pushing one low profile 12 inch sub in a sealed down firing box. This application requires a good bit of power and honestly the amp has surpassed my expectations. Tons of power with clean clear bass. I've spent three times as much on amps that didn't have half the power. Do yourself a favor and buy one.

Sick amp for the $$! Works perfectly with correctly paired speakers 🔊 got two for two 15" gravity war zone green logo not red. It almost hurts.

At first I was a little skeptical about this amp , saw a couple of reviews before I purchase it , no many reviews by the way, but seems to have good reviews after all, so I decided to give it a shot and so far I’m impressed, nice, smooth and deep bass , no too bad for the price, this is a decent amp considering that they could have built it with better material, but don’t ask for better quality when it’s a pretty cheap amp, that’s is why I give it 4 stars , I honestly recommend it !🤙🏼

I bought this Blaupunkt AMP4000D thinking it was a reliable budget option, but it failed after just 18 months. What makes this worse is that I rarely use my car—I’ve only put 2,000 miles on it in the last two and a half years! So the amp was hardly used. ​After suddenly (after over a year), I started hearing a violent "thump/pop" every time I turned the car off, followed by a frequently dead battery, I took it to a professional installer to have it looked at. My first indication I made a mistake was when the installer said... Yeah, definitely do not but these cheap amps...they fail all the time. I was told the internal protection relay has failed and "stuck" which prevents the amplifier for muting during shutdown. But crucially, in addition to the loud POP I hear when turning the car off, I found out this sticking relay also keeps the internal power circuitry active, creating a severe parasitic battery drain that kills my battery if the car sits for more than a few days. Which is why I had to go and buy a portable jump starter recently! It’s incredibly disappointing for a product to fail this early with such light use. This amp is not only a battery-killer... It's a fire hazard! Stay away.

I purchased this for my son to use after he burnt up my Memphis Audio Monoblock Amp. It was a budget replacement that has outlasted the amp it replaced for a fraction of the cost. The included bass knob is a nice accessory to allow you to quickly adjust your levels when needed. The amp itself did run hot until we added a 12v fan under the center of the amp buy mounting the amp to the box with risers. This avoided thermal cutouts and has made the amp reliable and hard hitting. It is wired to 12" Hyanka subs and provide exceptional punch for the price.
