Great flashlight. It replaced a worn-out Black and Decker flashlight, and it uses a Dewalt 20V battery that I already had.It is very bright, and the direction of the light is adjustable. I use it when locking up the chickens in their coop. I use white light for the path and the red light for the coop; the bright white light is great for me when walking on the path, and the red light does not blind the chickens in their coop. For storage, it rests securely on the battery pack.

I bought this light, primarily, because the battery it uses is compatible with my Dewalt 20v cordless tools. The light has two brightness levels for "white" light, a blinking white light and a red setting. To turn the light on, you press the on/off button once. The first light is the lower of the two brightness settings, which is good for walking in dark areas. Press the button again and the light switches to the bright setting. Press again for the blinking white light, and again for the red light. To turn the light off, press and hold the on/off button. Turning the light back on starts the order of settings over again. The light beam section rotates "up" and "down" through about 120 degrees or so of rotation and is tight enough that once the head is positioned where you want it, it stays there. It would be a great improvement if the light could be adjusted left and right, too, but it isn't a problem. I purchased two (2) generic 20v batteries to use with the light. After many hours of use, the light works well, and doesn't use a lot of power during use, most likely due to the LED light source. I also purchased several strong, flat magnets that I attached to the bottom of the batteries for the light, so that I can position the light on steel beams and such to be able to work with the light pointing at my work without having to hold it while working. Overall, I am satisfied with the light. If I were looking for a new work light, I would probably try to find one with adjustments up, down, left and right for my purposes, but I knew this light didn't have that flexibility when I bought it, so I can't let that detract from my satisfaction with the light I received. It is worth the money and so far it works exactly as advertised.

Bought for replacement for my father last year for Father's Day. He loved it and said it was as good as the Dewalt original. That made me very happy as he uses it a ton around the farm.

It’s bright but the plastic on outside it’s cheap.Drop the light off the table by accident and it cracked so you get what you pay for
