Edit: I have to reduce this wonderful detangling brush to 3 stars because it broke, as per the photo, after only 6 months of use. I am truly upset; I loved this brush! But I can't afford to waste money on a brush that lasts so little time. I chose this brush for detangling my long (shoulder-blade), fine but thick hair when it is wet after shampooing. I'm amazed by how well it works. It pulls through gently, without tugging or tearing wet hair. The spiral design seems to be what really does the trick; it gives with motion, and so there is no sensation of pulling. The brush is easy to hold, too--I've had other wet-hair brushes that slipped out of my hand. I like it well enough that I'm considering purchasing a second brush to use in the morning on sleep-tangled hair. Excellent item for a reasonable price.

I bought it originally because I had a similar brush that was no longer being made by a different manufacturer and mine had broken. This one is far superior in all ways. The brush itself is sturdier and performs better in detangling hair. I and my daughter have fine hair but a lot of it and it tangles very easily. This brush is a miracle worker on knots and is a must buy!

I brush my hair with this brush when it's wet or dry. I have long ginger hair... thick and tangley! I was so happy with it but it recently cracked and broke where the handle meets the brush. So very sad. Gonna buy another though... this brush does its job and doesn't rip or break my hair!

I can’t believe how well this little brush works. I have very fine hair that gets tangled if I even think about a breeze. Usually brushing my hair is a struggle. This brush slides through my knotted hair like butter!! I used it after diving yesterday, and it untangled my salty, dreaded hair in 30 seconds.It has thin, bendy plastic bristles with a flexible round back to prevent breakage. I’m gonna buy another one just in case I lose this one!

These brushes are softer on knots and tangles when brushed bottom to top, I don't have as much hair loss brushing after a shower like I do a normal brush. My last one broke, but I had it for about 3 years, and I dropped it. I will never switch back to any other hair brush

I was hoping this brush would help me detangle my hair, but instead, the balls at the end of it just broke off my hair. I'm returning it. It does nothing for my hair except damage ends. It might work for some people, but definitely not for my straight, long, easy to tangle hair.

I’d ordered another line of detangling brushes from Amazon that weren’t worth the price as they tear out just as much hair as my old brush. This is different and really does not pull out hair. However, the brush is turning a yellowish color at the base. Very disappointed with this.

Best hairbrush I’ve ever had! It doesn’t pull my hair even if I brush it when it’s wet. My hair is very long and very thick and this brush doesn’t pull at all. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom too! I have loved the Knot Genie brand for years but this brush is the best one yet!
