Day 1 immediate changes
I was skeptical at first due to never having a cordless stick vacuum --- but man, I won't lie ---this is well worth it. Pro: Light weight! AKA no bulky, tiresome vacuum that is heavy as hell to push around on the floor. Pro: LED lights on the this allows you to see what sweeping/other vacuums has missed. Eye opener. Pro: Fully powered, this will literally get everything. Con: Doesn't feel like its got a long lasting life, but it's worth it, all in all. I think it grants a break period, but if you plan to vacuum for hours straight .... This might not be for you. Con: Little black wheels underneath the vacuum can get lodged with hair. So some maintenance will be required. I'll call black and decker and ask for trips and update this in the future. So far a pair of tweezer's really helps. Overall: Amazing. It's hard to invest this much in a vacuum, but honestly, it cleans, it maintains a healthy household with pets and a barber --- and it WORKS. The stick is literally made for hair.

Pretty good if you keep it clean and avoid large debris
I bought this vacuum 2 years ago almost. I still like it a lot, but there are things I have learned: 1) I have a couple of these batteries thanks to other B&D items owned, but it does go through batteries fast on high power. 2) I don't see a difference between the one for pets and the one not, unless it's in the little motor, so save the money. 3) Unlike others in my home, I have learned sucking up any paper chunks (such as cardboard cat scratch pad debris) will cause serious clogging. Don't do that. You will need to remove larger debris from the area first, or you will need to clean the canister AND pipe (see light on both ends, folks) multiple times. 4) The beater bar will wrap in hair and strings. You need to remove anything wrapped on the bar or built up on the stiff brushes. 5) The canister should be dumped before you fill it up. 6) The filter in the top needs to be "tapped out" every single time you use it. I tap it on the sidewalk. You can probably tap it inside a trash can, but you'll drop the filter and breathe the super fine dust if you do. Also..EVERY time, no exceptions. 7) If you go over anything slightly damp, you will start a weird build up in the pipe. You'll have to clean it all out and thoroughly dry before using again. 8) The filters pull smells easily. If you vacuum any litter, you will need to toss the filter after a few uses due to the smell AND that fine dust. That also causes build-up needing cleaning. 9) The canister popping open is real!!! I've only had this occur a couple times over the years, my significant other has it happen almost every time it's used (lololol). All in all, I'd recommend this to someone!!

Works Great
This is a good vacuum for small jobs. Battery only lasts about 20-30 minutes so not really good for cleaning day. We use on a daily basis for quick pickups.

Good vacuum for the price.
Sucks plenty of dirt. The batter lasts few uses. It's a pleasure to see the dirt swirl in the container. Fun to listen when pieces of sand or small stones are sucked.

That didn’t last long!
I wanted a small vacuum, easy to grab for quick clean ups. This poor this just isn’t cutting it. The motor is already sounding like it’s dying. I am religious about keeping the filter clear so I know that is not the issue. It worked will the first few months.

I'm liking it.
Existing reviews complained about battery live. This is what I did. Bought the vac. It came with its one bat. I did not buy the pet version. I purchased 2 high power batteries. The vac has multiple settings. On tile I turn off the rotator. I found that suction level 2 works for carpet and hard floor. I have not ran out of power yet. Over 1000 sqft at the cabin. I turn off the vac if I go to move something out of way. Have not fell below the 2nd battery power level yet on a single battery. Stairs, remove the middle extension and smoke them out. I do rh side going up. Left side going down. Really happy so far. 15 times of use. Brush head does seem to stick on some carpets like door mats. Use pull motion instead. I clean tank after every use. I also use 5 to 10 psi of air for filter about 12 inches away.
