Case Club Pre-Cut Waterproof Compact Drone Case - Fits DJI Phantom 4 (Gen 2)

This case is basically a compromise between good enough and too expensive. I may have to relieve the foam in the lid because it wants to close like an overstuffed suitcase when the P4 is placed inside. also seems like the transmitter antenna will be getting too much pressure as well, and will need bit of relieving. Overall good fit of items but the hinges seem a bit kinky as someone else has noted. They tend to move the case wall around as you open the lid , but on the plus side this adds friction to keep the lid from falling down. bottom line is that this case will do the job and possibly save you enough to almost buy an extra battery.update: Have been using this case for a while and after being skeptical enough to almost send it back , I am now really liking it and glad I got it and saved more than $100 over a pelican case. I used a knife ( the ones that have snap off tips ) and relieved the foam in the lid where it touches the top of the P4 by cutting a shallow "pyramid" in the foam. Also cut off the "peaks" of the foam in the lid where the controller sits. These actions now let the lid close with just enough pressure. Also, the motors were leaving an imprint in the foam . There are holes to fit them but I removed a little bit of foam at the bottom of these holes in the lid and now all of the pressure is on the body of the P4 .

This thing is just about perfect for the Phantom 4 along with accompanying accoutrements. It's not bigger than it needs to be, but it fits everything I want to bring with me in one package. It takes all of about 10 seconds to put the blades on/off so to me it's unnecessary to have the longer case so you can leave them on. I think the longer case only becomes critical if you need the extra battery slots. I like that the lid stays at 90 degrees and doesn't flop over flat in case you have limited working space. There are 4 latches, each with a push-button release locking mechanism on each. It seems like it snugs down tight against the rubber seal. I only have 4 batteries and was able to use the additional 2 slots for my remote lanyard and my parabolic antenna reflector/range extender. It's a little tight, but I'm also able to fit my Galaxy Tab S2 with a cover on it along with the hood/shade I use for it in the front pocket. As pictured, this case weighs 21.6 pounds when fully loaded. I would have preferred that they put two rivets on each side along with a shoulder strap, but I'll probably just wheel it around on my little collapsible magna-cart hand truck if I need to go any great distance. In a pinch you could probably use the holes they drilled for adding a lock on either side to add your own shoulder strap.If you found this review helpful please click the button!

WOW!!! What a GREAT case!!! As soon as you unbox it and open it up, you can see the quality of this case! The fit and finish is perfect!! The cut outs are near perfect and should cradle every piece of the P4P you put in it. I was concerned that the actual drone sits a little high instead of resting in it's cutout, but when it's closed the drone seems stable and secured, thanks to the reliefs in the top cover eggrate foam. The exterior plastic seems durable and very well molded. The 4 latches, 2 on either side of the handle and one on each side of the case, should keep the top cover from ever accidentally opening. My ONLY gripe is that, for it's size, it's fairy heavy. However, you will never have to worry if your drone equipment will survive hard knocks and bumps. So, if you want a high quality case for your Phantom at a reasonable price, this is THE case!!

I spent a lot of time trying to decide which was the right case for my shiny new Phantom 4 and finally settled on this one. What drew me to it was the rugged appearance and compact design.Yes, you have to take the blades off. That takes literally seconds.Overall, fantastic case. I do have two small gripes that combined aren't worth removing a star, but I figured I'd mention them. The case only opens to 90 degrees, meaning the lid tends to fall shut if you are on the slightest incline. Other reviewers praised this as a feature, so it may not bother you.Second, it's a little tight getting two sets of props in next to the tablet. They fit, but it takes some effort.Despite these, I'd still give this case a solid 5 stars. I have great confidence is the safety of my drone when locked inside. I am very happy with my purchase.

The case seems strong. Good design overall, but there is still room for improvement. The main problem i have is that the lid putts a lot of pressure on the motors and arms of the drone. The case should be slightly deeper to allow for more cushion on top of the drone. It seems they are trying to stay within the dimensions of a "Carry on" which i understand is a good thing. The problem can be somehow fixed if you have the right tools and some cutting skills. I just didn't want to start making cuts and adjustments. Unfortunately since most of my flying is over water i can't take any risks. As much as i hate to return things, i have to send it back.

Talk about an amazing case.Usually I dont write reviews until ive had the product for a while. In this case I decided im doing it now because its literally indestructible. In my opinion this case is just as good if not better than any pelican case. The price is more than right and my phantom 4 and all its components fit so nicely. I even have little odds and ends like a small flashlight and extra cords and everything all comfortably fitting. They give you all of the cutouts incase there is a spot you dont want to use you can fill the void. Today they called me and asked if I was satisfied and if I had recieved the bleeder screw because sometimes it gets misplaced. I should have asked for the guys name when he called so I could put him on blast.Amazing caseI suggest to anyone who cares about there 1500$ drone. If your gunna spend the money on a drone spend the money on the insurance (the case)
