Great harness, no notes
The media could not be loaded. This has been so great for getting our kids comfortable on the slopes. Just purchased our second one because it worked so great with our now 4-year old (she started using it at 2). She still feels more comfortable having it on, and our 2 year old would go for it with or without the harness, but I like that I can keep him within 5 feet of me.The harness is easy to put on, works great on bunny hills, greens and the easiest blues (we haven't tried anything more), feels safe and strong - it has never slipped or ripped. Our kids say it's comfortable. Stores up pretty small, and the fit is fine for 2-4 in our experience. Does not seem like fit will be a problem through 5 or 6 if our oldest still wants to wear it.Allows us to teach ski basics and overall has made skiing really fun for our family. Worth the price!

Good fit and functional
Great fit. Easy to take straps on and off. Handle makes it easy to pick him up if he falls

Perfect for small kids, paired with an edgie wedgie
This is the best thing ever (paired with the edgie wedgie). We initially chose this particular one because of the ability to attach 2 straps rather than just one. After trying it out we have found it is much easier for the adult to try to handle one strap as opposed to 2, but you have that option with this harness so that has worked out fine. We also found that they still need to understand some basic skills like turning for this to be effective. Otherwise when you pull on it you just pull them over. If they can at least kind of do the motions with their own body you can help guide them and it works a lot better. After the first day with the harness with a four year old, we went back to basics on the tiny bunny hill for some turning skills and after that we only ever needed it for a little guidance. He has been 3 times and is ready to do without on all but the hardest green runs. I would say the best feature about this is the handle on the back and the thicker backpack style straps which are invaluable for helping a child get up out of the snow when everyone is wearing big bulky slippery gloves and jackets. Even if you can’t reach the handle behind their neck, you can get ahold of one of the front straps and haul them up. We bought one of these each for our 7 year old and 4 year old. The 7 year old didn’t end up needing it for the leash part, but we still put the vest part on since we have it, so we can help her more easily if she falls down and gets her feet tangled.

Drastically lowers learning curve, but explosive hardware failure
I have 3 year old twins and these have been the best way to get on the slopes with the kids. You have enough control to subtly direct them or slow their falls which I wasn’t expecting to be so nuanced. Both I and my father-in-law love using them. That is until today. My FiL was with my daughter and the plastic loop connecting the elastic/harness connector shattered mid route while guiding her into a turn causing a small fall. He tied the two pieces together to get down the hill but it doesn’t leave me with a lot of confidence in the other 3 straps. It could be hacked using a carabiner but an upgrade to metal hardware or oversized plastic would be worthwhile. The only other critique I could give is the strap attachment to the harness worn by the child is impossible to remove for riding lifts without taking off your gloves and even then it is fiddly. That’s probably fine out west with the long runs but in the east I am doing this every 10 minutes so by the end of the day my finger is a little sore.Still I would but it again. Best money I’ve spent on training, lessons included.

First time skiing!!
The media could not be loaded. This was perfect for our 4yr olds first time skiing! We used it to pull her with first on flat ground to help her learn how to stand, and then when she had the hang of that we went up and she went down the mountain like this! The quality was great, and we loved that the straps were adjustable and removable to different places too! It was great quality and worked perfectly for us!For a momma that was a nervous wreck about her falling, and getting hurt, or going to fast down the mountain and crashing into someone/something - I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with a young kiddo!! It made our trip enjoyable for everyone and even helped our daughter feel safe too!

Strangulation hazard without leg loops
Dangerous, but looks cool. This does not have any leg loops. Using the grab handle pulls the vest upwards and will bunch up around the child's neck. I purchased this with the expectation that I could lift the child onto the lift with the handle. The handle is positioned a little high for this, and poses a strangulation hazard if it were to catch on something.

Would recommend this product!
We loved this product! The backpack portion was comfortable for our 5 year old and she did not complain about having to wear it. The leash portion easily detached when she was on the ski lifts. The leash did not hinder parent ability to ski/snowboard, nor did it prevent our daughter from safely being able to stop on her own. We would absolutely recommend this purchase.
