My current favorite pen for everyday use
After a couple of years of using fine-tipped gel pens for most writing, I have recently started shifting to hybrid ink ballpoints like this Pilot Acroball or the Uni-Ball Jetstream. Although the Wirecutter web site picked the Jetstream as their choice for the best pen for most people, for me a Jetstream in the 0.7 or 1.0 mm point sizes is actually TOO smooth; the pen feels almost out of control, like hydroplaning in a car. However, this Pilot Acroball in the 0.7 mm point size has just enough more "feedback" from the page to feel comfortable, and I really like the consistent dark, fine line which looks very similar to the line produced by my previous favorite 0.5 mm Uni-Ball Signo 207 gel pen. While these plastic Acroball pen bodies with textured rubber grips are reasonably comfortable for me, I also frequently take the refills out of these pens to use in more "upscale" pen bodies like my Waterman Hemisphere rollerballs (just trim a bit of plastic from the end of the refill). Although I still use a variety of inks and both smaller and larger point size pens for specific writing tasks, these 0.7 mm hybrid ink Acroballs are my new favorite pen for everyday writing.

Great pen, wish blue was more readily available.
I use these for work. I do a lot of data logging on a daily basis. One of the smoothest writing ink pens I have used.

Best Pen!
Being a nurse I’m obsessed with smooth writing pens. Previously bought these in white, so repurchased these to keep at work.

Gel not ball point
These are gel ink pens not ball point

Seems more like a fine point pen.
I have Acroball fine point pens and this 0.7 mm pen and I can not tell a difference in line width. But it does write well, does not smear for me, and water does not wash the ink off paper - this is what I was looking for in a pen.

New favorite pen!!
I love these!! I'm very picky about my pens, I use them a lot and have high expectations. These glide beautifully, they don't 'skip' like many gel or other kinds of pens do. These are pretty effortless to write with and they look sleek. Highly recommend!

Excellent Pens
These are my favorite pens for writing in my bullet journal. They write smoothly without scratching and create clean, black lines.
