I enjoyed this entire Trilogy.
As with every Daniel Judson book I've read, these three books were engaging, complex, and full of memorable characters. Although each seemed to lag a bit in the middle, it didn't deter me from the interest, nor curiosity, in getting to the end, and solving all the questions that I'd been asking throughout. If I haven't figured out the ending by the third quarter of the book, I consider that a good mystery, or suspense novel. Such was the case with all three of these books.

I'm sold
As with any fiction writer, all the characters have similar thought processes and motivations, Daniel is no different, and I'm fine with that, because I like his character, in all its many guises. Like Elmore Leonard and several others, the common theme of lives forged in the crucible of crime and corruption that rise from the slag more human than before, more compassionate than before, is the stuff that rings true since the old testament

Enjoyed
I’ve read all of Mt Judson’s books. It takes a little while to get used to his writing style, but I have come to really enjoy the pace and succinct wording. This is one of his best

Keep Remer books coming.
Love this character. What's his first name? The mood of the book, while dark is still hopeful. Hudson becoming a favorite.

Dan hits the mark again
Today is the official release date for Dan Judson's new book. I came home from work last night and found my pre-order waiting for me on the doorstep, a day early (thank you Amazon!). I opened the package, sat down, and devoured it, reading it all in one sitting.Voyeur isn't quite as dark and cynical, or quite as psychologically tense as The Violet Hour, and it's a faster read. By that I don't mean to imply it isn't as good, it's just different. Sometimes you want a heavy, complex stout, and sometimes you want something a little lighter, like a dark ale. It's not giving anything away to say there are a couple of characters that we've met before; thankfully for the new reader it isn't necessary (or even helpful) to know those characters' pre-history in Dan's earlier books. Dan has tightened and trimmed his writing a bit, and here we're not smacked on the side of the head with the solution to the mystery--we're allowed to figure this one out, partly, but left wondering about the "why."All in all, a little lighter--a little--than the last couple of books, and not quite as lingering, but by no means is this "Judson Lite."Now to go to work and explain that I'm bleary and shagged-out because I was reading until 3am . . .

Excellent Book
This is the third and final book of the series. All three books were excellent, but this was my favorite. To really get the feel of the series you should all three. I highly recommend it.

Four Stars
Just started this book, but so far, I wish I had more time to read it.

Very well written trilogy
These three stories were well crafted, and held my attention to the end. The characters throughout were well designed, and vital to the completion of the three stories. Real page turners to the end. Thanks Daniel.
