Fits Perfect and So Far, So Good
I own a 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L with 210,000 miles on it. In the past year I got the guts to take on some DIY auto repair since the car is older and close to it's end of life. First it was the auto-doors, then the brakes and rotors and now the power steering. The power steering has been making noise for a few years, but only in the Winter. I started checking out YouTube and found a video about replacing only the O-Rings where the high pressure hose meets the pump. I did this and it fixed the noise for a while. The noise came back, but this time it was because of low power steering fluid. I figured out I had a leak in the high pressure hose because of the stains in my driveway and I visibly saw the hose leaking very slowly. I was going to take on replacing the hose. The part was under $100 on Amazon, but it required some tools I didn't have to access the hose clamps. I procrastinated a while and just kept filling the power steering fluid about once a month. The steering got tighter and tighter and I really had no time to attempt this hose repair. I took it to a mechanic and he replaced the hose for about $300 ($189 for the hose, $6 fluid, $90 labor and tax). The leak was fixed, but the steering was still super tight. The mechanic said I needed a pump, which I kinda already knew. He told me it would be $600, probably because the Honda Genuine part is over $400. He did "advise" me that the pump repair is easier than the hose. He knew I already did some work on the car, so he figured I would attempt it.So I bought this one on Amazon for $70, watched a YouTube video as a reference and replaced the the pump in about 45 minutes. It only took that long because I never had experience with moving a belt tensioner. Very easy install with some confidence. I used a turkey baster to remove the power steering fluid from the reservoir. I had to remove two 10mm bolts to remove the high pressure hose. I had to squeeze a hose clamp to remove the other hose. I had to release the tension on the belt using a ratchet and a breaker bar to move the tensioner. I then slid off the belt and removed the pulley from the pump with a 3/4 wrench. And then I removed two 12mm bolts from the existing pump. After that I pulled off the caps on the new pump and reverse-processed the bolts and hoses to install it. It was a perfect fit. I put the fluid back in, started the car and it fixed the problem instantly. The steering is ridiculously smooth now, probably because I got so used to the tight steering. So far, so good. I will update this review if any issues arise.

Cured my WHINING power steering problem.
I have a 2004 Acura TL with 237,000 miles currently. I put this pump on about 10,000 miles ago and it is still running great. My old pump was having some whining problems with "cavitation" aka air getting into the lines from somewhere. I replaced all of the O-rings and soft lines (which were no longer soft from being old) and that did not solve my problem. SO, I moved on to replacing the pumpThe installation only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, it is a fairly straight forward process and can be done with limited mechanic skills in my opinion. I immediately noticed a difference when I started up the car after installing. No more whine and my steering seemed more free. The steering wheel seemed to turn more freely than before. I will update this review if I encounter any problems in the future but it is currently running strong.

Quick install. Works great. Nice price
My 2009 Honda Odyssey with 190k needed a new PS pump. At idle, there was little or no assist... so parallel parking was an issue. Stepping on the gas just a little overcame the problem, but that's not helpful when you're trying to gently park the car.One thing I really like about this one is that it's NEW, not rebuilt. So - no core return. I had read reviews of other products that are rebuilt, and they still had the no-assist-at-idle problem. Most rebuilts will replace the bearings and the seals, but not the impeller / gears. So if the impellers and/or case is worn, there is too much clearance and the pump simply doesn't work correctly. This one is all new, so hopefully that won't be an issue.This was a pretty quick install. Fit perfectly. Nice and quiet, and the power assist works at idle just like it's supposed to!If I develop any concerns with this pump I will post a follow up to this message, but so far I could not be more pleased with this product.Quick update. Over two years later and this steering pump is still going strong!
