Fixed my Ingersoll rand air impact wrench
I bought this set because I needed one ring to repair my Ingersoll rand impact wrench. Fixed!!. I got this tool used and have always had to endure sockets falling off. Not any longer. The ring can be a bit tricky to install as is seems to be spring steel. No matter. I got it installed and am quite happy with the results. I recommend it.

Dewalt 1/2 inch hog ring
Seems to be working great. Purchased a remanufactured 1/2 inch Dewalt impact wrench from Amazon and it arrived without an o-ring behind the hog ring. The first socket I installed crushed the hog ring and it stopped holding sockets. Just received this kit and installed the new o-ring and hog ring. Everything is now working as it should.

Fixed the problem
Sockets were a little tough to install, probably because the hog ring is new. From what I understand that shouldn't be an issue as it wears in.

Hard to install but work
I know there is a tool to smack them onto the impact anvil, I don't have it. Snap-ring pliers worked sort of. The rings aren't hard spring steel as expected and don't snap back to shape, so had to squeeze them back into shape

Will NOT fit Chicago Electric 1/2" electric impact wrench
They look like standard hog rings, with rubber washers. Unfortunately, they are too thick to fit into the groove on my Chicago Electric half inch impact wrench. The first one I tried went on ok, but none of my impact sockets would fit over the ring to go on the wrench. I then took another one and gripped it with plyers and ground down one side all the way around on my bench grinder to make it thin enough to fit in the groove. It's not perfect, but at least now it works and I can get sockets on and off, but not easily.

Put on o-ring, set metal ring on table, rock tip on.
Easiest install and doesn't over stretch the metal ring? This requires no special tool or even effort.1. Push o-ring onto gun tip and into groove.2. Set metal ring on hard table top or other surface.3. Set tip of gun into ring and rock til the tip is flat on the surface and continue to rock a little past flat.4. If needed, push the metal ring the last 1/16 inch with your finger tips until it falls into the groove.Worked perfect immediately, and I have a lifetime supply of rings for less than others are selling them!

20 volt Dewalt impact
Ring is too thick to fit in the groove. Would not work in my case.
