Warning: Misleading Labeling (There is no silk whatsoever), and the shampoo is highly overpriced
Quite overpriced when you see the ingredients. Also shamefully extremely misleading as there is no silk at all in this shampoo called "Supersilk." Right above the name they put a logo that says "Brocato Nano Silk Complex," which implies there will be nano silk complex in this shampoo. But again, there is not.The second ingredient is Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate: "Can be derived from coconut. Used primarily as a detergent cleansing agent, but is potentially drying and irritating for skin and is also tricky to formulate with due to stability issues, though it does produce copious foam."If you look at all the ingredients you will see there is nothing special, and all are really cheap, and can be found in much cheaper so-called detoxifying shampoo. But again my biggest complaint is there is no silk whatsoever in this Supersilk shampoo with the Brocato Nano Silk Complex words written right there on the front of the bottle. They should be required to warn people that this product contains zero silk.Full Ingredients List:Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PPG-2 Hydroxyethyl Cocamide, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Limonene, Linalool, Lilial, Fragrance.(According to Wikipedia, "Lilial (lily aldehyde) is a chemical compound which is used in cosmetic preparations i.e. skin care lotions [for external use only]. It can sometimes act as an allergen and may cause contact dermatitis in susceptible individuals.")
