Thumbby™ Soft Massage Cone

I have never been a fan of t-bars and other plastic or wooden massage tools to use in clients…but, this is my favorite massage tool to use. I like that it is made of a soft rubber, so you don’t risk hurting the bony areas, and I like that I can control it with my palm, which allows for more proper and controlled movement during a massage. Works great for trigger point treatment on the traps, rhomboids, piriformis, QL, and TFL.

I rarely review items, but this Thumbby TM Soft Massage Cone is incredible. I have found myself using a tennis ball to massage my back while lying down on the floor in the past. Or, leaning my back into the corner of our stair posts. Now, with a brand new baby, my back is a literal mess, and nothing else has touched the amazing effect of the thumbby. The flat silicone backing sticks to the floor or wall, allowing me to effectively push into my back, and even up/down/side to side to really push on the muscles in the optimum direction to loosen up my guitar-string-tight muscles. Furthermore, the name is super effective because it truly feels like a thumb of a very strong person massing those muscles...only this can be sustained longer, and easily moved to the exact spot you need it when you want it. I lost it for a couple of days, and had to resort to the tennis ball, and literally could not keep my right hand from falling asleep while I was in bed since the tennis ball simply cannot go deep enough. since the temporary misplacement of the item, I have purchased two more for myself, and one for a friend who is a dental hygienist with shoulder problems. everyone I have allowed to use this has loved how it feels on their back also. Thank you Thumbby for making such an incredible product, and for giving me relief.

I have muscle aches all over, and a large collection of self-massage tools. This is the best. When I lost mine I bought four more right away: one for the apartment, one to stay with my backback, and two for gifts.Thumbby has just the right hard/soft for my muscles, comparted to other tools. It is amazingly versitile. I can stick it on a wall to massage my upper back. I can hold it in my hand without strain to apply strong pressure to an area. I can use the point and edges. The instructions are great.

I was previously using a Lacrosse ball to work out knots. The Thumbby works great to into the tight spots.My only complain is that the "suction" is virtually non existent. It only moderately works on perfectly smooth surfaces. It will not stick to walls, even those without texture.

OMG!! Best massager I've ever used and I've used them all! I have a trigger point in my neck area and I will ask everyone I know to rub my neck in that one spot. The only thing that feels good is someone's thumb digging into it. Well the Thumbby is exactly the same feeling as a human's touch. I just stick it on the wall and lean up against it. It is hard enough to give the right amount of pressure yet soft enough to not be too hard or hurt. The rubbery material makes it stick to any surface and then you just pull it off when you're done. I also put it on the floor and lay on it. My God, I love this thing. I've never had any massager work the way this one does. I know some people are saying it is pricey but I have to tell you, I'd pay almost anything to have my sore spot in my neck rubbed whenever I want it! I haven't ever been able to achieve the relief I need with any other massager and that's saying something. I just push into it and enjoy the release of tension. Thank you for an awesome product that works!

Wow, this is one of the most effective tools I have found for getting to certain key trigger points, especially in my shoulder blades and parts of my back. It is just the right density (a firm rubber but not rigid) and comes to a point that targets just the right area. I saw this product recommended on a fibromyalgia website, and I'm glad I tried it.

I bought this based on the recommendation from a friend who is a massage therapist. I am pregnant with baby #2 and have had some issues with sciatica. Using this massager feels AMAZING and definitely helped with the pain I was having. It feels nice on the back and shoulders as well. I found that it stuck well the to wall with enough suction that it stayed on during use, but did not cause any damage to the wall when removing. I am a dental assistant and do Crossfit so there are many times that I have sore muscles or my back hurts and this works great! I really like that the material is a soft rubber and not hard plastic like many other massage tools out there that end up hurting and leaving you bruised.

This thing is so great, it really does what it says it does. The customer service was outstanding; she called to make sure I got to pick the color I wanted and made sure it was sent out that day even though it was late so I didn't have to wait over the weekend. Superb product, and will purchase more for friends.*The edges are delicate, so, like the seller told me, be careful when removing it from a surface because if the edge is damaged or torn, it will not hold suction.
