Ich baue das Buch in meine Bachelorarbeit zum Thema Rassimus ein. Ich finde eigentlich sollte jeder dieses Buch gelesen haben, um zu verstehen, wie sich People of Color unter Rassismus selbst verstehen und fühlen. Frantz Fanon, mit seinem Wissen als Psychiater, beschreibt diese phänomenologische Erlebnis eindringlich und hervorragend.

J'avais un an quand ce livre a été publié. J'avais 22 ou 23 ans quand je l'ai lu pour la première fois. Je l'ai repris récemment pour me rafraichir les idées, cinquante ans après, et j'ai compris pourquoi ce livre fascine autant. Il anticipe en réalité le basculement méthodologique d'une psychologie centrée exclusivement sur la personne en faveur d'une démarche beaucoup plus centrée sur ses interactions avec son environnement, et surtout au travers de relations d'autorité. Il a anticipé certains thèmes de l'antipsychiatrie de Ronald Laing et d'autres, et aussi les rites d'interaction d'Erving Goffman.

The book talks about a sensitive matter that I don’t know of many blacks want to admit: the inferiority complex in black peoples as a result of white supremacy.There could not be white supremacy without black inferiority. We fight white supremacy but forget that if the devil can defeat you in your mind, he no longer needs to fight you, you’ll fight yourself.The style of writing at times was too poetic and I felt I may have missed some points cause I could not get it.For the most part, I am better for reading this book and would highly recommend!
