Facon12V RV USB Charger Socket, 5V/2.4A Dual RV USB Outlet, Wall Mount RV USB Charging Port, for RV Trailer Camper Boat Marine Motorhome (White)

Bought this last year for a project to install in my RV and just today got around to custom fitting it into a small plastic box and thought perhaps I should test it before installing. Put it on the a Ampere program and charging fluctuates between 200 and 400 milliamps on the socket labeled 2.4 amp! Now my box is useless as I'll likely not find another brand with the same configuration. Even the wiring on it is ridiculous black wire is positive and the white wire is negative.Piece of junk I cannot return now.

This arrived in good time, and suits my application perfectly. Time will tell how it holds up, but I expect that it will work well.I have installed it in an older trailer, and drilled a hole in the luan near where my cigarette lighter socket is. I was able to use the same circuit to connect the wiring. The installation went smoothly, and it matches my other fixtures.I plan to use this to charge my mobile devices when I am boondocking.

Works as advertised. Easy to install. Wires could be longer, only 6 inches provided. Charger socket is always on so it discharges battery over the long term. An on-off switch or auto detect power on would be very usefull.

1 port dead out of the box, like others have said, test if you can before install. After spending a lot of time doing a proper neat install to find out it was faulty was infuriating. Now I have to remove it and send it back for a refund. Do not recommend. Wish I could send a bill for install time/parts.

Installed this over my bed. Charges my Samsung A50 phone way faster then I thought it would being only 12v. Couldn't live without it. Of all the purchases I have made on Amazon this is right up there at the top with cost/usefulness value.
