X-Level Pixel case Series 3XL Black

I want my Pixel 3a to have a decent case. This one fits my budget for a case. Matte finish means no finger prints. However, my fingers appear to slip slowly while I'm holding the sides of my phone. I have to arrange my fingers to hold on 3 sides of the phone (2 long sides and 1 at the bottom).My phone dropped from the couch to a wooden floor (no more than 2ft high) and the case appears to have absorbed the drop.I like the case because it is very slim, not very bulky. Holes for earphone, and charging port doesn't interfere with the plugs. I picked the color to easily distinguish my phone from my wife's.

Nice low profile but I found it impossible to hold with one hand because it's far too slippery. Who looks for a silky, or "sliky", smooth feature in a phone case that offers less protection because it's a minimalist case by design; seems like the two are incompatible to me. Sent it back after struggling with it for two days.

The case fits nicely around the phone but feels too hard to offer any meaningful protection. Moreover, the surface is so slippery that it's hard to hold the phone with one hand, and I have already dropped it a couple of times when I tried picking it up. My old case was soft silicone that had a much better grip, so I am going to send this one back and look for another soft silicone case instead.

I love the feel and it's super slim - my phone now fits in my teeny girl-pockets. I don't want to test it's shock absorption capabilities because it is so minimal.It is slippery, though. Just holding it one handed to read and it slowly slides down and thus needs constant readjustment. I'm going to have to get one of those straps or knobs or something.

Very pleased with this phone case. I previously used an extremely thin case and was worried this would feel a bit too thick in comparison but it's nice and slim and doesn't add much bulk to the phone and doesn't obscure the use of side swiping. The feeling of the material is a velvety kind of smooth with a bit of grip and the Winered colour is very nice. Great for minimalist case lovers.If I were to nitpick over small things, the cutout surrounding the charging port is very straight cut so if your hand/fingers rest there while holding the phone it can be a bit irritating/uncomfortable, would be better if it were a smoother edge. Also the cutouts around the fingerprint sensor and camera lens are just slightly off centre, but not enough to bother me.
