Stainless Steel Garlic Press

Amazing! Love this garlic press! I actually was online looking for a tool to make grass out of gum paste for a wedding cake I was making, A couple of the tools I bought proved difficult to use due to nerve damage in my hands.Thats when I thought to myself "why not use a garlic press"after all it would do the same thing and not be as hard to use. So I decided to invest in a garlic press to use exclusively with my gum paste art for my cakes this proved to be the best decision I could ever make! it made wonderful grass quickly and effortlessly sparing my hands. I'm sure it works well as a garlic press But for me it works even better for gumpaste art! It's made from high quality stainless steel cleans up easily, It's a good sturdy piece not at all flimsy and I recommend it to anyone who needs a itool gumpaste art or for what it is intended for.... pressing garlic! You won't be disappointed with this purchase !

I just received this garlic press and have only tried it once, so I say that it is near perfection with that caveat in mind. It is substantive in weight and quality of material. Pressing multiple or large cloves of garlic is quite easy. The stainless steel construction is ideal for garlic as it doesn't absorb the garlic odors and cleans up nicely! My one and only critical observation would be that the plunger can be mildly contrary at times. It does not find it's own way all of the time and needs a bit of gentle assist!

I love this garlic press!!! I've only had it for a week, but so far I am impressed. In the past I have broken garlic presses - I don't think that will be an issue with this one. It is SOLID. I have run some large, unpeeled cloves through here without any hint of trouble. And clean up is so easy. I wish I'd picked this up a long time ago....****8/30/16 - UPDATE****I have been so satisfied with this press. I recently learned that my mom didn't have one at all so I ordered one as part of her birthday gift. The day I gave it to her my brother and my aunt both took interest when they saw it. I ended up going home and ordering one for each of them as well. I have now bought FOUR of these. Again, I can't recommend it enough. If you need a garlic press, this is the one you should buy.

I bought this particular garlic press after reviewing several others on Amazon because of its compact size. Also because of how it came apart making it easy to clean. When I opened the box, I was impressed by the heft of this garlic press. The size was perfect for my needs but I do have to say that as an older woman, I have to use both hands to squeeze due to the ergonomic design of this press. The dept of the bowl is shallow and only holds a few small cloves or one large and when filled, the distance of each handle from each other requires the use of both hands. I did notice that some garlic squeezed past the plunger but I don't think any press out there is free from this issue due to the nature of what you are doing to the garlic clove. I rinsed it off after use and placed it in my dishwasher. It came out clean and odor-free. I think I just found the solution for all the time spent chopping my garlic as fine as this press can do. Oh, and as far as stinky fingers, you still have to handle the garlic some, and if you peel before you press you are guaranteed stinky fingers unless you spray your fingers with whatever cooking oil you have around. The oil seals your fingers and avoids the garlic oil from seeping into your pores. It washes off nicely.

So first off I was not really into paying so much for one kitchen tool/gadget. I mean it's not big bucks here but it is a tad pricy for something that only does one thing.However - the one thing it does... It does it extremely well. I mean I don't even have to peel the garlic. I just trim off the top a bit and put it in the garlic press and bam the best pressed garlic comes out like magic.It is even easy to clean because you keep the skin on it the pieces of garlic do not get stuck like they do in other kinds of presses. The skin gives enough pressure that you get all the insides and the tiny remnants that are left come out with the skin when you lift up the handle.Love it. Getting the garlic ready for my cooking no longer feels like a chore! Yay!

We had gotten a garlic press that was horizontal and it didn't work out. The horizontal one would get stuck and jammed with garlic and we ended up doing more work than doing it my hand. My husband and I use garlic in literally every single meal so having a press is definitely something that is required. We had given up hope but I gave this one a try. It is perfect, easy to clean, and easy to manage. It's a reasonable price, it's durable, and it comes apart so you can clean it easily. Definitely worth the purchase!

I bought this garlic press to use with garlic and ginger and ease my food prep. I have been getting meals delivered every so often (that I must prepare but all the ingredients are included) and many of them require garlic and/or ginger. I also have crappy knife skills so this is my solution. I love that it's easy to clean and the reservoir slides out. You can fit fairly large pieces of garlic and ginger in it, too, saving time. Easy to use, easy to hold and easy to crush garlic and ginger into mush (my favorite part). Great for getting a little anger out. :)
