Informativo para novatos
Algunas situaciones ha vivido como novato en trading. De alguna manera tenía claro que tomaba malas decisiones de vez en cuando sin querer admitirlo. Creo que esa lectura me pueda ayudar a mejorar y tener más éxito.

An important book for traders, but lacking editorial oversight
I gave this book five stars, because it addresses a crucial topic in trading and there are only a few publications out there seriously covering trading psychology. The market is saturated with books on "proven" techniques, which often fail to deliver, and "Mastering Trading Psychology" deserves recognition for its more substantial contribution to the trading "genre."That being said, the book needs some serious copy editing. In my review of Andrew Aziz's "Advanced Techniques for Day Trading," which was also self-published, I suggested that collaborating with a publishing house would help improve the content and structure of the book and the current volume further proves my point.Though "Mastering Trading Psychology" is technically co-authored by Andrew Aziz and Mike Baehr, it relies heavily on contributions from various members of the BearBull Traders forum, whose excerpts are copy-pasted into the chapters with only minimal edits. Aziz reiterates the collaborative nature of the work on multiple occasions in the introduction, but that acknowledgment does little to fix the inconsistencies with language flow and prose. These first-person accounts are often repetitive and long-winded, resulting in an awkward structure and a format that is sure to frustrate the reader. (They also include too much praise for Aziz and Baehr, which should be cut down significantly to avoid a self-aggrandizing tone.)Moreover, the authors incorporate parts of Aziz's previous publications, at times word for word. The chapter on resilience in trading, for instance, features excerpts (p. 67-68) from "Advanced Techniques of Day Trading" borrowed directly from the previous volume. In the same chapter, the authors also duplicate an existing paragraph, reproducing a fragment from page 66 on page 69, which causes further confusion. Examples of similar blunders can be found throughout the book.I understand that self-publishing gives Aziz and Baehr a degree of autonomy, but the resulting lapses in structure and language are very unfortunate, especially given that the book has great potential. It covers a number of crucial topics, from emotional control while in a trade to sleeping habits, which I have found to be extremely helpful. This is also why I think this book should be picked up by traders looking to improve their game and is definitely worth the money. Nonetheless, I hope that Aziz and Baehr will put more effort into the editorial process of their next project and/or the next edition of this book. I look forward to learning from them in the future.

Real experience from real traders
After reading a few trading books it can seem very easy, just follow a few rules and your on your way to consistent profits. That's great until you're sat your desk, your emotions take over and within 10 minutes you go from joy to feat to anger to guilt and back to joy again! It's an unsustainable roller coaster ride that will quickly lead to emotional burn out, if you don't blow up your account first!Mastering Trading Psychology brings a refreshing change by covering real problems faced by traders in their own words like focusing on a few good setups and building your trade book, handling a series of losses, revenge trading, setting goals and even diet and sleep.Recommended reading for both new and experienced traders

Great for mental re-focus
I usually read a few pages of this book after a bad trading day or a big winning day/ streak when my heads getting to big. It’s full of story’s and messages from other traders that seem to go through the same trading phycology issues that I go through. As a beginner trader I think this book helps keep you grounded and stay focused on the big picture.
