A good device to add to my product review tool box
The media could not be loaded. If you often do products review on Amazon like I do, you may know how important it is to correctly showcase the product you’re reviewing. A good tripod is always something to have around, but difficult to use when it comes to overhead shots. This device is exactly what I was looking for. It’s fold-able, so easy to carry and store when not in use. But then, it unfolds into a telescopic phone holder, which will allow you to have your phone records your products at the desired height. I have a Samsung S22+ phone and this holder works perfectly at holding the phone without even the need to remove its case. This holder also has two integrated lights, which you can turn ON & OFF, control lights temperature and brightness, which can be controlled either by buttons on the unit itself, or using the included small remote control. The same remote could be linked to your phone, so that you could control it, without the need to actually need to press anything on your phone to take pictures or video. It’s very well balanced, and so far, I didn’t have any tripping over accident. It can also be used as a tripod if needed which is great and gives me the possibility of another tripod I could use for different view angles. Now for some negative that are minimal and don’t affect my five-star rating, but still good to keep in mind though:- Device needs to hold up a big phone without tripping over, and thus is a bit on the heavy side, at almost 2.9lbs.- Unfolding and setting up the device could be a bit tricky to understand at first.- This holder only come with a charging cable. No power block included.

Not Professional Quality But Functional!
I do the social media for a small business which is primarily just basic product photos for FB/IG/e-mail and short videos for TT. T his little stand is very functional for being able to film myself and take steady product shots. I have a few complaints but none are major, and I’d absolutely recommend it to others who need something affordable.A pleasant surprise was that it’s also particularly nice for photographing pictures/documents straight down flat on a table/surface.My list of (minor) complaints:-it’s QUITE heavy, heavier than my laptop! This is great for keeping it steady but carrying it around in my bag…OOF.-you have to charge the remote and the base separately, with the same charger.-I have managed to pair the remote with my phone for the shutter, but haven’t figured out how to pair it with the base to control the lights.-if I leave it in my bag folded up the buttons for the lights are still exposed so the light sometimes gets turned on in my bag.-if it’s extended quite far, it does have a bit of sway/wobble noticeable in close up shots.-because the phone is ABOVE the light instead of in the middle like a ring light, the lighting doesn’t work as a primary light source on a face without causing raccoon-eye shadows-the phone holder is great with a thick case but not if you have a pop socket; you’llhave to remove the pop-the phone holder only adjusts (in all three dimensions) in 45 degree increments so it’s sometimes tricky to achieve precise angles on some shotsOverall a great value and I’m pleased with it!

A great all-in-one set for shooting fixed videos with smartphones
The media could not be loaded. As in title, a useful setup overall, just as I had hoped for from the product description. There are a few points I would like to leave behind, but I don't feel any of these are major setbacks. One point is that some intermediate angles are difficult to maintain, as the light's weight and the phone's weight combined forces down the joints to the next stable angle, for example 90 degrees. The rod joint exposes a plus screw, but I couldn't tighten this enough to stay put on its own; the light's joint does not expose any way to adjust at all.Not critical, as I can still maintain any intermediate angles by external means, but a standalone fix would be even better.Another point is that the phone fixture was very rigid with my case to begin with; so much that I posed a query above.Following the advice there to force it a bit in case it was stuck, I managed to turn this part, but only with a large snap. (video attached)I must mention though that after this snap, the phone fixture seems to be happy to rotate smoothly as anticipated, so not a major problem after this. One final point is the weight; though as expected, it IS a bit heavy. I still think this is a good balance given the specs. All in all, a good recommend, with some points that could be further strengthened.

Not worth it: Imbalanced, weak gear teeth
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for overhead shots but need my shots very straight. Not only is the base too light, the arm cannot hold itself level with the phone in place.I wanted this bcuz it would not need to be clamped to the edge of the table, but lack of balance causing a tilt in the shot is a problem for my needs. Overhead is fine if you don't need a perfectly straight shot. I've tried several things to get it straight...but the slightest touch causes it to move. I would be constantly fiddling with this thing. It cannot hold the phone sideways or at other angles because the gear teeth slip. The video shows the lightest touch causes the teeth to slip, so it will not hold the phone in positions other than overhead and portait with the stand going straight up and down.It does not raise 130cm, it is more like 110cm or around 42inches. The phone clamp is difficult to maneuver in my otterbox because it's so shallow.I did get the clamp model as well (different brand) it's much stronger, does the job and the light is better...it even detaches so you can put it where needed. Its a lot cheaper also, and the phone clamp is easier to maneuver because of its shape. I wanted to love this, but it's going back and I will work with the clamp model.
