Perfect for the job in task
Unfortunately in my infinite wisdom I tripped over our Christmas light cable and snapped it! Perfect after a bit of soldering and using this to cover the joint, does exactly what its supposed to and would recommend these, as so far so good.

Good selection of diameters
Good number of tubes. Went for a mixed colour pack - would have liked to get some of the wider diameter tubes in white - only black for the largest sizes.First use was to seal an external TV aerial join. Was very straightforward to fit and then shrink with heat gun.

Way better than heatshrink without the internal adhesive
I love this heat shrink (also called dual-wall heatshrink) as it gives additional mechanical strength to the joint due to the adhesive that lines the inside wall. The adhesive softens with heat and will form a small fillet at each end of the heatshrink. This holds the wire sheath firmly at entry and exit points and all along the length of the heatshrink, making it far less likely that the soldered joint will break due to mechanical issues due to things like the wire being pulled.

Great variety of sizes, good to have a case to keep them all together.
I have various solar powered lights outside that don't like the British weather, water gets in to them and the wires decay/rust. Rather than purchase new lamps, I like to re-wire and weather proof connections with these heat shrink sleeves. Also these sleeves have a type of glue inside that melts and seals the connection. Does a really good job. I recommend them!

The promised 3:1 shrinkage is met and end product is very robust in appearance.

Good selection of sizes
A good selection of diameters for the money with the bonus of being adhesive lined which should in theory make a cable joint waterproof. With a shrink ratio of 3:1 it is noted the same seller also offers 4:1 but you pay more for it. Easily trimmed to size I successfully used a hot air gun as my heat source.
