I like it because where the vegetables touch is all made of stainless steel. It a bit wiggles when I use it but I think it is normal for the manual slicers. It is the same as ad says (thickness and so on) so I am satisfied.

So I bought this and it works but the hand protector doesn't grip as well as I would like.So of course I cheated cutting long cucumbers with out it,and cut my hand.After heating up the soup spoon and cauterizing the wound, I did it again.Sailing with Captain Morgan beforehand was not a genius move.The nurse called me a savage gave me antibiotics and told me to throw the damn thing out.The captain and I decided she was right.Use this device responsibly.

It’s very sharp, but functional with all the extra things needed. Wear the gloves and use the tools it comes with and you’ll be fine! I’m excited to have this in my kitchen!

The build quality is unimpressive: although the parts themselves are durable, the legs and steel plate move around when using the mandoline, which is annoying. In addition, the blades are not particularly sharp, and the smallest julienne size is not very small.

Use the guard or your finger prints will be gone. Sharp and easy to use, had to replace my from 20 years ago
