I replaced a broken release that came on my couch made out of plastic with this metal one. It is much better made and fits perfectly. My only complaint was that when I ordered, it appeared to come with the cables included, but mine did not have them. It was not a big deal as I didn't need to replace the cables, but having them in a pinch would have been nice.

The recliner release pull handle came without instructions BUT there are plenty of videos online. The installation took about 6 minutes and was quite easy after looking at a video or two. The only part that took any time was removing and replacing the two screws due to the locations of the holes in the old and new parts (same location---unavoidable; be patient!!!).ALSO, this part was cast metal instead of the plastic unit is replaced. I look forward to not needing another recliner release pull handle a long time!!!

The original recliner release handle broke after five years. The original was plastic. This metal release handle was a perfect fit. It took 10 minutes to replace. I expect this to last for the remainder of the couch's life. There's other options available, but I highly recommend the metal handle versus the plastic handle.

These are very sturdy as to the plastic ones that were on my love seat when i purchased it.These should last a very long time

This is awesome! If I would’ve had this to begin with I would’ve never had to replace in the first place. Excellent product. Going to order to another for the other side as it’s only a matter of time before that side breaks too being cheap plastic.This metal is sturdy, great value for the money!

This is exactly what I needed to prop my feet up after a long day at work. I purchased the cheaper plastic one's last year and they broke in a matter of months. Please buy this product as it is metal and sturdy.

Haven't installed these, yet, but have examined them closely and purchased two of two different brands, which are identical. These certainly seem durable and better than the plastic ones! Wish I had found them sooner. These should last longer than the plastic ones. These are exact duplicates to the plastic ones. Highly recommend them. Will update review if anything changes.

The item fit the original piece and was easy to install. Has a little slack before causing the recliner to open. Thing the arm is a little too long. But it’s working for now.

These handles were super easy to install. Just pulled up a youtube video on it and it took like 5-10 minutes from there. These feel way sturdier than plastic handles, which is why I paid the "big bucks" to get em.Only downside is the shipping, which takes super long cause its from china. Their estimated shipping time was accurate though, so ive gotta give em credit for that at least.

I've replaced the handles on my recliner twice already, this all metal handle looks like it will outlast the recliner, it's very sturdy and the release action is smooth.

Arrived one day early and was exactly as described. Installed it in a couple of minutes and works perfectly. Better than the original which was only plastic.

Received it faster than expected. Super easy installation and perfect fit Have already broken two plastic ones, so am confident that this metal one will not need to be replaced any time soon. Will certainly buy again to replace the other plastic ones on my furniture. Great value as well.
