Have I bought these for a sisters cruise and we all used them. I have since used them twice at the local pool and as a holder for a tablecloth.

Bought these to take to Aruba just because I saw people recommend towel clips. I had never been to Aruba, so I figured "ok." But wow, they were RIGHT. So the tradewind in Aruba were crazy. So the towel clips serve multiple purposes. Obviously they help to keep your towel from flying away by clipping the towel to the chair. But also, using a towel clip to clip the towel to the chair also marks the chair as "claimed." People will leave their hotel rooms at 5 am just to go clip their towels to a chair to claim them. The different colors are helpful so people in your party each know which towels are theirs. I also intend on taking these camping to use as clothes hanger hooks to hang towels for drying. The jumbo size seemed a little overkill but it really wasn't since you can use them on a variety of lounge chairs, regardless of size.

I used two per chair and they were great. I was afraid that they would be stolen when we left our chairs but no. Light weight but sturdy

I use these on our boat to hang towels or wet items on the railing. So far it works well. The clip is not as tight as I had hoped but it holds things securely in mild wind. They will have a use on our boat. It is just as packaged. I just couldn’t give 5 stars.

They work but don't last forever

I ordered the “double thickness” clips to be safe as I wanted a clip that was more durable and hopefully wouldn’t break easily. While I can’t compare it to the “single thickness”, I can’t imagine what those are like. What I mean is the double thickness seems like a standard clip. They do not seem extra robust or beefy. They seem standard. That being said, I think they will do the job just fine. I purchased them to use for beach towels or hanging wet suits on the balcony. I can see these big clips coming in handy when going camping or boating too. As I use these clips, I will update my review with durability. So far, I would recommend the clips because they are better than anything I could find locally and they feel like they will hold things firmly.

Nice clips. I use them to secure my patio furniture covers onto the legs in case the gusts of wind want to take the chair covers off. They are pretty sturdy and wide and maintain a good grip. The plastic is kinda cheap so I don't see these lasting through a brutal summer or any season for that matter. I will post a follow up after winter to see if they make it.

Bought to take on holiday so I haven't used them yet, but they appear strong and robust. I have been looking for something like this for years. Expensive for what you get, but if it solves my bugbear of attaching towels to sunbeds them I'll be a happy bunny.

These work brilliantly. We used them to hold our towels on a small boat cruise and they stayed in place. Their jaws are very wide.

Not using them for towels but working well on the allotment holding insect netting to frame!
