Miracle Prayer: Nine Steps to Creating Prayers That Get Results

Dr. Susan has written her best book yet! This book teaches you to pray with results. The first time I used it, it worked for me. It does show you that your prayers are heard and answered and how to find the answers we are looking for. Its very clearly written with exacting steps to take. The author gives examples, and her knowledge and extensive research is very impressive and the result is a book that can work for everyone. It matters not what your beliefs or faith are, but teaches you HOW to pray and get the results you are seeking. It is definitely life-changing and gives you hope again and clear results. I read some part of it every day.

This book covers a broad range of topics besides just prayer. She explains karma and the ego and many things about spirituality. One thing that I liked was that she explained affirmative prayer as not asking God for something, but rather changing ourselves so that we realize we are worthy of having it. The book really ties in with the law of attraction and other teachings about how we control our own lives. The main thing that makes her method of prayer different and better than other affirmative prayer is the fact that you identify possible blocks that are keeping you from achieving this in your life. As you pray, you release these beliefs and affirm new ones. Spending just a little bit of time praying will help you to connect with your spirituality and work on your goals in a positive manner. I have read a lot of new age and self help books, this is my first by this author, and I have to say I am extremely impressed with her knowledge and her teachings. I definitely recommend this book.

Like the other reviewers I have read many of the New Age books but never really practiced until I read Miracle Prayer. I never heard of Susan Shumsky, D.D. before. They say when the student is ready the teacher will appear. I now have all of her books and am really finally putting into practice what I have studied and my life is indeed changing. At first I felt peace and all of a sudden things started changing and I started to change how I look at things. I have never written a review before but I felt that I had to let other people out there know that prayer really works, and this is truly the book to guide you. Other books really don't explain how to do it, they tell you to do it. When reading her books, I feel like she is right beside me talking to me. I ask a mental question and the answer appears in the next paragraph.

Dr. Shumsky provides a clear understanding of the principles of prayer, or the scientific prayer method. She gives the reader a background on the spiritual principles that govern life as well as how to effectively apply them in your own life. She provides tools for helping you to create your own personal prayers, including lists of many affirmations. What I found truly invaluable were the many prepared prayers which are specific to a variety of challenges one may be facing. I immediately began using these prayers and have witnessed, and continue to witness, many positive, and what I refer to as miraculous, results. I found the testimonials at the end of the book to be both inspirational and motivating. This is one book that I keep close at hand, referring daily to some of the prepared prayer treatments that Dr. Shumsky has provided. This is an excellent and powerful tool!

I find I am more prone to pray rather than meditate so I purchased this book out of personal interest in the topic. It is perhaps not for everyone but overall I enjoyed the book and reading Shumsky's included prayers. She has another book that is basically hundreds of prayers Instant Healing: Gain Inner Strength, Empower Yourself, and Create Your Destiny . Miracle Prayer is the foundation so to speak as you can see Shumsky's guidelines on formulating her prayers. For that reason I prefer this book as with it you can formulate your prayer(s) own to suit yourself. There are some prayers included to start readers off. Some of the other reviews seemed to object some of the prayers because of what was being asked for but you don't have to use those prayers and are free to make your own. I would say this is more of a non-denominational book that encompasses a wide range of spiritual beliefs all of them founded in belief in God. If that is objectionable the reader should probably go elsewhere and there are certainly a lot of books with prayers available.

I found this method of prayer in another book, and it touched me so deeply... not only are you making your petition... but sincerely acknowledging your connection with the Creator, in a manner of grace and gratitude. I stumbled upon this book and when I saw the title I was hoping it went deeper into the method of prayer I had found in the smaller book and it did!!! She writes beautifully with a sincere heart, her connection with and her love for Divine shows through...I feel this is missing from so many books out there today... where is the love connection between us and the Divine? When you find that and you know you are truly connected... you can't ask for much more. I rarely rate books!!! But this author is both thumbs up for me!!!

This book taught me a way to pray with healing, affirmations and silence embedded in it. I loved the history of the prayer and how effective Miracle Prayer is

I was intrigued by this book and by a couple of messages left offering very positive feedback on its contents. I have been working on several prayer treatments for myself and others, doing these over the working week only and repeating them only once, rather than the two suggested times. My young son has suffered, on and off, with nausia for some time (over a year). This seemed to have become a nightly routine: go up to bed, get into bed and start to feel sick (if he wasn't already feeling this way before reaching his room). Since using a treatment for him the nausia reduced considerably within days and now I don't automatically assume I need to let him sleep with a jug just in case!! In fact, he has not complained of incessant feelings of nausia - apart from a couple of short-lived sessions - for over several weeks. I have also been using this for myself to aid the ability to tune to Source in order to identify and remove limiting beliefs. I have since been led to an amazing lady who has to-day begun to kick-start my healing process. I feel very empowered. I have no doubt that (by the circuitous route I was led to find her) this was enabled by the repetition of my daily prayer treatment to this end. My aim is to offer healing to others through the removal of such beliefs and I can now begin to see the light approaching. I would suggest that some treatments may need longer working due to their seeming complex nature, although I have no doubt that persistence will indeed bring results. The steps to the prayer treatments are made very clear and easy to follow. Indeed, there are many pre-written treatments in the book which can be used. An important part of the work is to highlight - through your own Higher Self - the beliefs that are presently limiting you in achieving your aim (this process is simplified and is very easy and natural to follow). Overall, I would highly recommend this book and it will be one that I keep for future use. I have no doubt that many of the other treatments I am presently working on will continue to furnish similar positive and beneficial results. A book I am so glad I 'found' and one I will not relinquish. (at times a small added note referring to other books ppl have found really good has led me on to greater things and so I openly recommend The Grace Outpouring by Ron Godwin as one of those very few amazing books that can be truly awe inspiring and life changing)

Extremely lengthy and wordy. I was bored to death and irritated. If tou get it, bypass the extra razz mataz and goto 9 steps. You wont miss anything really. A basic concept but explained in a highly complicated way
