FPV Fly More Kit for DJI FPV

one battery is completely useless now. it wont charge or reset or anything. Update: June 4th 2024 well unfortunately the other battery has also stopped working however I’m not sure if the batteries are the issue anymore. I have many batteries that were purchased elsewhere and a couple of those are dead now too. What killed the batteries? The charger. The charger that came with these batteries killed both these and 2 more that I’ve had for over a year and charged many many times with a different charger. Since I’ve stopped using the charger that came with this order, I’ve had no more issues with all the rest of my batteries.

The FLY MORE KIT is an absolute must have!!! If you purchased the DJI FPV drone you will note that there is not a lot of happiness conveyed with the single battery. You will burn through that battery in a short time, and you are left with "no more battery power remorse" Don't let this be you! I found the fly more kit to be just the answer to my additional flying needs. There is an easy-to-use charging hub which you can attach your two spare batteries and the one that came with your drone making a 3-way charge possible. Set and forget as the unit will fully charge one battery before moving one to the second and third. There is an auto charge monitor so that your batteries will not be overcharged, the unit shuts off charging when it sees the battery is full. If you want to keep your drone flying happiness' index high, then this is a MUST HAVE. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. On my scale of 1to5 this is a VERY SOLID BUY 5+ MUST HAVE.

The basic DJI FPV Combo comes with just one battery. I initially bought just the basic Combo, and having just the one battery was marginally OK...as long as I stayed in Normal mode. Sport mode was a *completely* different story! Zipping around at 62 mph burns battery power at a prodigious rate, and Sport mode flights rarely last longer than 7 or 8 minutes. With a battery charging time of about an hour...plus the time needed to let the battery cool down after a flight before charging it...the wait can get incredibly frustrating. And Manual mode, of course, is even worse. This Fly More kit comes with two additional batteries, and a charging hub that can charge three batteries at a time, the two that come with this kit, and the original that comes with the drone. If I start the day with three fully charged batteries, I almost never run through all the batteries before I'm ready to take a break anyway. I fly one battery to depletion. I take it out to cool, and put in another one. When I fly through the second battery, I put the first one on the charging hub, take the second one out to cool, and put in the third battery to keep on flying! Some days I do wish that I had a *second* Fly More Kit for my FPV, but the vast majority of the time, a single kit is fully satisfactory. If you're at all serious about flying your DJI FPV, just buy this kit. You definitely won't regret it!

I bought this because the battery that came with the slightly used DJI FPV Drone combo I purchased was a bit beat up. The thought of using it made me nervous, so I opted for the 2 fresh batteries in this FlyMore kit before my my first flight. Safety first kids! 😁 After buying this kit, and after a bit of investigation, I learned that the original battery is still useable even though it was a bit dented as a result of the previous owner dropping it. Apparently these intelligent batteries are pretty safe, i.e. not super fragile. So it turns out that I didn't necessarily NEED the extra batteries, but I'm soooo glad I bought them because: - The FlyMore charger in this kit recharges the batteries very quickly, and ceases power transmission to the batteries automatically once they're charged. - I've tripled the flight time I get. Having just 1 battery would have meant going through the trouble of packing up my gear and heading to the flight area, only to have a scant 15-20 minutes of flight time. 😭 - More flight time = more practice = more experience gained in less time = actually enjoying the FPV hobby = a very happy me. If you have the money, buy this kit. It's more than worth it. Having only the one battery for this drone is like having a Ferrari whose gas tank has a maximum capacity of one gallon. 😆

It’s nice to have all three charging. It works, it’s OEM. The batteries are great. Same as you get out of box. My complaint is that it charges one at a time. I kind of wish I bought two separate charging stations so I could plug them all in and charge at the same time. Oh well, kind of a dumb complaint I guess but when you want to get back out there quickly, this isn’t quick. Also, I do feel it’s weird like, if you have one fully charged and it’s in first position, the other two won’t charge and it errors out.

You need this if you buy the drone, because one battery with the kit is no good. Plus you can charge all 3 with same time with charger.

Beware of the fakes..!! So after receiving the flymore kit and charging them and powering on inside the house everything seemed fine…got the my contract for that day and then looked inside the goggles…”not a DJI battery” was what I saw and it would not let me fly!! Returning them and bought the full priced bread new version instead of the cheaper open box alternative that I originally received…they were obviously returned for a reason.. so I’m hoping that this new kit does not show up with the same issue as I’ve seen in my research that this seems to be quite a common thing to have happen! So I’m taking down a star because of the fact that I looked like a dummy when I showed up to a jo with only one battery!! However..Anyone with an fpv drone knows that this is absolutely needed. Just bite the bullet and order yours today…hopefully you run into the problems I did…but I’d strongly suggest getting the new ones instead of their open box sale stuff as they’re probably open and sent back for a reason…

Segunda compra: Esta vez tuve un problema con el envío por parte de Amazon; estaba confiado a que llegaría en la fecha mostrada; pero en cuanto acabó el día, el status cambió de "en proceso de entrega" a "pedido recibido". Si bien Amazon hizo el cargo y posteriormente el banco rechazó el cobro, ¿por qué no avisar en lugar de continuar con la entrega del pedido? Fue hasta después que metí reclamo que Amazon hizo el cargo de nuevo y el banco entonces sí aprobó el cobro. Pero ya para cuando llegó el pedido, el evento para el que necesitaba las baterías había pasado. Aún así, las baterias llegaron en buen estado y funcionales. Así entonces: tache para la logística de Amazon y excelente para el vendedor. -------------------- Reseña Original: Las baterías pueden durar 6 minutos si haces tu ACRO muy rápido e intenso. Si haces modo NORMAL seguramente la batería durará aproximadamente lo que promete DJI en sus especificaciones. Este kit es indispensable porque es bien sabido que DJI deja de fabricar baterías tras algunos años (por ejemplo, las baterías del Spark ya no figuran en la página oficial ni en los retails oficiales; las que encuentras son por reventa y muy caras). Así que si puedes, compra al menos un par. El HUB solo carga UNA batería a la vez. Esto es excelente porque la tecnología da prioridad a recuperar lo más pronto posible la batería para que puedas usarla cuanto antes. De igual modo, el HUB permite el acople/desacople "en vivo" (o sea, sin tener que desconectar el cargador), por lo que puedes reemplazar la batería ya cargada por la que acabas de quitarle al drone al instante. Y así, en serie, las baterías se cargarán. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque este kit no viene con cargador. Así que si por ejemplo, compras 2 kits, solo podrás cargar 1 kit a la vez con el cargador del drone; digo, venden por separado el cargador, pero ya se parecen a Apple en cuanto a vender accesorios se trata.
