looks great and is very stable when using the touch screen
Very simple assembly, looks great and is very stable when using the touch screen. My RPI3 application is Volumio. Accommodated the DAC on the PI easily.

Awesome fit!
The Raspberry Pi display fit absolutely perfectly in this case, with perfect tolerances. Unfortunately, the Raspberry Pi Foundation made a mistake in their original blueprints for the LCD display...flipping the orientation upside-down. There are several reviews here and on other case products saying how to flip the video image in software, but the LCD display appears to have been designed for proper viewing only when right-side up. I decided to put the legs on upside-down, which means that the Eleduino logo on the back is upside-down...but the LCD display is right-side up. A pitfall of doing this is that many Raspberry Pi power connectors stick out below the feet, making the display wobbly. I fixed this by buying a right-angle microUSB adapter, which needed a little bit of trimming but works perfectly with the Canakit 2.5A power supply plug.I'm docking one star for the logo being upside down, as well as the very poor documentation for how to assemble the display case. It wasn't difficult to figure out from looking at the pictures on this page, but it could've been a little bit better documented. The case for the Pi board had serviceable directions, and it is of the same high standard of precision fit.Overall, I think it is a great product and I would buy another one again without hesitation if I was getting another LCD display.....

It's a good looking, functional case
It's a good looking, functional case. Two USB ports are effectively blocked. The power USB port barely has enough clearance for the strain relief on my USB cable. It's quite nice, and I want to keep it. It fits my needs. But if I needed another screen case, I'd try a different design first. I couldn't recommend this without looking at how the ports fit with the bamboo structure.

Visually nice, but quality/design needs work.
LCD is designed to sit the opposite direction this stand forces it to be mounted. The fit tolerances for the screen were poor - not flush, had to carve the the border/edge off the bottom just so I could mount the screen flush.Wood feels pretty cheap - I can see why some people have seen their piece split in two. Very fragile. Feels like if I had the screws tight, and left in a room that gets cool, I could come back to it split open eventually. No issues with the included plexi layered Pi case.

Poorly designed, splintery, just junk...
There are several issues with this product:1) Power cord can only fit over the top, if the Pi is oriented with the cord facing down (as it should be) it will protrude longer than the legs.2) The notch in the back of the wood case for the display board pins is unusable (as seen in the picture)- the only way to mount the pins over that slot would be to flip the board upside down, which would then necessitate a twist in the ribbon cable... unless you also mount your Pi upside down.3) Splintery and unfinished cuts on the wood- needs additional sanding and trimming. Looks about to split in some places.4) Plastic Case is not usable, screw holes scribed but not drilled. No directions, but my setup is already assembled anyway.5) Logos and branding all over this thing- Why? There is nothing to be proud of here...

Beautiful bamboo case for your RPi 3 – with a tiny caveat…
This bamboo case is really beautiful and it snugly fits the 7" touchscreen. Regardless of what other said before, you can easily keep the power connector on the bottom; there is still enough room for the cord if you use the official RPi power supply. Anyhow, the case has one caveat. The up-link USB power outlet on the adapter board cannot be used to power the RPi because the space between the case stand and the connector is not wide enough and the connector itself is also partly covered by the case. Even if you would find an angled full-size USB plug, you would still bend the connector. Which means, you have to power the RPi using the jumper wires (used to connect the power from the adapter board and the GPIO pins on the RPi). Hence you can’t just run a standard ribbon cable to the GPIO connector without figuring out a way to power the RPi. Still, I like the case a lot and highly recommend it if you want a nice looking mini monitoring station like I did.

A bit of a kludge
The standoffs tend to be too short for the USB power input which must be plugged into the bottom of the Pi when mounted appropriately. I solved this issue adding my own rubber feet beneath it.

The pi case does not fit the pi I ordered ...
The pi case does not fit the pi I ordered... I think the pi I have is a newer version than what the acrylic case supports so I could not use the case. The bamboo screen holder is okay but I needed to dremel the corners for the screen to fit flush.

Nice kit.
Nice kit and well packaged. Great if you have a pi dedicated to this kit.
