Charles Viancin Lid Eggplant Sili Rnd,purple 8"

This is my first silicone lid and I'm so happy with it. It's so useful and I love the color. I wish they had other sizes available in this particular style and color.

I use this lid for sauce pans and small frying pans on the stove top. It can go directly into the dishwasher after using the lid. I have several of Charles Viancin silicone lids of various sizes. I also have given them as gifts, which are much appreciated by the recipients. Also, you get a tight seal on the bowl, pan, etc. and can pick-up the bowl by the lid itself!

I am using all 4 lids a lot. I use them to cover salads or other foods in the fridge or to protect them outdoors from the bugs during a BBQ. I have used the larger ones to cover bacon to prevent splattering of grease during cooking. I even used one in the oven which made me nervous but it was okay. There is a limit on the higher degrees though, so be careful with too hot an oven. Mine was only at 350 degrees. So far cleaning has been easy, I have been washing by hand but it is so fast. My daughter has now bought 2 and likes hers as well.

I use this lid for everything! It sticks to things that plastic wrap won’t, plus it’s heat proof. I am trying to reduce my carbon footprint and wasn’t very happy with the beeswax paper I bought to replace cling wrap. This kid far exceeded my hopes and expectations.

I do like these toppers, except for use in the oven. I can taste the silicon on the food when I use in the oven. Not pleasing.
