I purchased these steps for my 3 elderly kitties who were having some trouble jumping on and off the couch & bed. They are wonderful! I wish I would have purchased them sooner. One of my old ladies has arthritis and her mobility has improved since I purchased these steps. The impact from jumping off the couch was causing pain & she would limp for a few minutes every time she jumped down. She loves the stairs & started using them as soon as I got them - and no more limping. She gets around much better now. My other sweet little kitty has diabetes & IBD. It is a bit challenging to control her bloodsugar because of the meds she has to take for IBD (she is seeing a vet specialist regularly & is well cared for). When her bloodsugar is on the high side her back legs get a bit weak & she has trouble jumping up on the couch & bed. She fell once trying to get up on the couch - luckily she didnt hurt herself, but I purchased these steps immediately after that so it wouldnt happen again. They have been great for her too. Both of my kitties easily run up and down the steps and act like much younger cats now. They love their stairs!I have had these for a little over 6 months now. The fabric is durable & still looks the same as the day I got it even with multiple cats running up & down them daily. The foam is soft so it is very comfortable for a cat (or dog) to walk on, but also nice and firm so it looks like they will hold up well for a long time. I even sat on these steps a few times & they have not lost their shape. I purchased the gray color and it looks great in my house (my couch is also gray). These steps are deep enough for an animal to walk on easily. I actually purchased another brand of pet steps at the same time as this one. The other brand was the same height, but had 4 steps. The steps on that other brand were so shallow the cats couldnt walk down it. I returned that one. The steps are deep enough on these stairs for pets to walk comfortably. I highly recommend purchasing these!

I have a 17 year old cat that is in his final stages of life. I picked up 2 sets of these stairs in order to help him climb onto my bed and onto the sofa. They have been AMAZING. I have a 5 1/2 year old pug who is 27lbs. We have 3 twin beds in a small room. We recently replaced 2 of the beds and due to such my Pug has been unable to get on ANY of the 3 beds. I spent HOURS looking and measuring and reading reviews. Until I found this one. I'll admit, the price was off putting. Its alot of money for dog stairs. Finally I broke down and bought them because I couldn't stand the pleading looks my dog gave me to pick him up. HOLY COW!! The package came quickly! The stairs are light and easily fold into different shapes. They are sturdy enough to hold 27lbs of Pug!! It only took an empty hickory pill pocket (and a lot of praise) to coax him up the stairs and that was it. He was a big boy who could do it himself. No more lifting up 27lbs of Im-too-little-mama-pick-me-up in the middle of the night! The stairs are pricey but well made, solid, stable and the perfect height for the beds. It was money well spent.

These steps work well! My dogs found them instantly and had no fear going up them. Some dog steps are not solid on the vertical part that connects the steps. And that has always scared my dogs. These did not have that issue. They came assembled and are very lightweight. The only reason I took off one star is the reviews are correct they don’t always stay in place. But I do think that could easily be remedied with sticky tape if it bothered me enough. I like to be able to move them to other areas of the couch and chairs, so I have not taped it down. The only other suggestion is I wish I had ordered a prettier color. But that is just a preference. I have had a lot of different types of dogs steps over the decades. These are by far my favorite. And they are super easy to clean.
