Best thing ever if you have kids
Two thumbs up! Easy install. Works great. Makes it nice to access the coach without the key. We camp and ride with our friends and families. If we split up for activities anyone that has access can get in and we’re not leaving it unlocked like we used to. It’s a little pricey but worth it. If you’ve ever had a Ford with the key pad for the door you know what I mean. The app is okay, but when you can walk right up with the code it’s more of a party trick. 2023 Heartland Cyclone 3714.

Bauer not backing their product
Last November I bought a Bauer Bluetooth RV lock for my new trailer. I decided to try Bauer over the previous locks I had for previous trailers. It worked great a few times and then all of a sudden it would not unlock with the buttons and then with the Bluetooth, intermittently. With winter, I stopped camping until this previous May. The problem became worse. I phoned Bauer who said it was under warranty and told me what I needed to do including what pictures they wanted, which I did. One photograph included hanging the handle carefully by its wires so I could take a picture of inside the lock as they wanted. They said I must have abused the lock and for that reason it was no longer under warranty. Obviously the picture I took had nothing to do with the lock not working before hand. Shame on Bauer for not backing their product and making up a reason not to. I will go out and buy a Lippert lock like I originally thought too. My bad mistake for thinking Bauer was a reputable company. I will pass this along.

Great now but Needed tweaking
My husband is handy and was able to make this work on our 5th wheel camper door. The striker plate was not matching up and he had to do some manipulating to get it to work. Having said that, it is great now! I love not having to chase down the key to open our door. It is easy to push in the code that we programmed into it, and it opens easily. I love that we have the app on our phones...all ready in case we pull up to the camper in the rain.

Nice lock
Replaced an older lock of same make/style. Easy to install, works well, didn't need the Bluetooth, but couldn't by one without it.

No keys needed
I like that it has code entry and bluetooth to your phone to lock and unlock, good to have a key backup as well. Only dislike is it loses sync with my Android constantly but my hubby's iPhone works fine, I'm ok with that as I use the code to access and the quick lock when leaving. Overall it's a good deal, installed in existing door hole just fine.

Just Not What We Expected
In search for a replacement lock with a keyless function, we found this one Bauer Bluetooth enabled lock. The lock can be opened one of three ways: with a traditional key, a PIN code, and bluetooth via an app.The lock installation was not complicated and the Bluetooth initial setup was straightforward as well. Given that it is bluetooth, understandably the range will be limited. However, both the PIN code and Bluetooth methods of locking and unlocking worked very rarely after a few months. We are unable to use the keypad to unlock and only sometimes we are able to lock it successfully with the keypad. The Bluetooth just simply became nonoperational. It just seems the deadbolt / lock gets stuck and it’s not able to lock/unlock using the keyless methods. In summary, the PROS: easy to install and durable (the handle itself) and the CONS: unreliable keyless features. We are still using this lock after two years, but only with the key now.

DO NOT BUY JUNK!!!!
I purchased this lock to replace my old RV Lock that had wore out it had key fobs that worked great to a distance of 100 or more feetThe first Lock I received failed within first month but the Bluetooth feature only worked about 5 feet if that ( i have a I-phone 15)Customer service replaced the first one because it was defective would not open at all .Now I have the second lock and it it won’t open when you enter the code and like the first lock sent the Bluetooth feature is totally worthlessCustomer service told me that the Bluetooth feature is not a warranty issue! ( thats the reason I purchased this product)I asked for a refund and customer service told me that that’s not possible because I didn’t pay anything for the replacement sent to me!!!So if you need an RV LOCK look elsewhere!

Easy Replacement Install
I installed this as a replacement to a non-Bluetooth keyless Bauer lock which failed after less than two years. Hope this one lasts much longer. It was an easy replacement installation since the previous lock was a similar Bauer lock. Since the last one only worked for less than two years, I purchase a three-year third-party warranty from Amazon for $21.
