Not a beginner helicopter.
Buy a RC simulator and learn to fly helicopters on the computer before purchasing a helicopter like this if you have never flown one before. It’s cheaper to hit the reset button versus replacing parts. Not a beginner helicopter. Other than that, this is a very stable helicopter and fun to fly.

Good value
Years of rc airplane experience, my first helicopter. Looks to be well made, and is set up ready to fly right out of the box as soon as you charge the battery. Stabilized beginner mode helps a lot. Could have been a little easier to remove/install the canopy. Overall, very satisfied. A lot for the money.

Nice beg-int heli
Haven't tried to fly a helicopter since my GMP Cricket in the 80s. This is perfect for getting back into it. Easy to fly in beg mode. Battery charges in about an hour. I have flown about 15 batteries worth. One tip over while landing. No damage, blades are just a little scuffed up.

Very stable, be sure to read instructions for trimming before flying.

I doubt the veracity of the "QA passed "sticker.
I received my new Blade 230S Smart RTF about 30 minutes ago. Was reading the manual and inspecting the model. I noticed a yellow wire with a single connector that is hanging off of the ferrite ring. The wire comes from the motor control. Am sure it would not wise to power it up until it is connected.I didn't expect to have to either return it for a replacement or to have to find a manual that shows the connections.

It came well packaged. Super easy to fly out of the box. If you're going to be flying 3d I suggest getting an rc flight simulator. From experience it's a lot cheaper than crashing. Oh and make sure you buy an extra battery, it needs to be compatible with the charger for this 🚁.

For the Newbies!
The media could not be loaded. Okay so I saw that someone committed on the yellow wire sticking out the back with the small black plastic piece on the end. This yellow wire is your receiver antenna. This is a must to have don’t cut it off or mess with it! This helicopter is the most powerful and most reliable helicopter for learning to fly to larger 300-500 series. Those looking for a smaller scale helicopter to learn helicopter aileron stabilization, elevator, rudder an collective pitch. That’s Blade 230s it’s exactly to scale as large scale helicopters, and also how the actual piloted helicopters fly.

Ok for beginners
This was my first helicopter so I'm learning how to fly it has a safe setting and that helps a lot but if I had to do it again I probably would buy a smaller helicopter for my first one but this one does not disappoint

To know how to fly.
The seller does not warn that the helicopter needs to be adjusted after unpacking. Servos and rotor blades.As far as the design of the helicopter is concerned, it is very fragile. All you have to do is take a hurdle a bit and the whole helicopter will break down (which happened to me too.)As for flying, it flies very well. I haven't gotten to 3D yet.For complete beginners, I would not recommend this helicopter.
