The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the aluminum base it came with. Bought one in the past and had a tripod base. Liked that base better.

Topkar Green Beam 3D Self-Leveling Three Plane Laser Level （with Lifts and Magnetic Bracket）Item Number: JD-12 (Green Line)I compared the laser lines generated by this 3D laser level to another high quality 3D laser level. The accuracy of the lines were dead on. Perfectly parallel and easy to read. I did find that the laser is sensitive to movement and has very loose dampening. You just have to give it a moment to settle. Once it does, it levels perfectly. The Amazon website posting is accurate in description and features.The JD-12 comes with a brief User Manual. The instrument is turned on by the switch in the front of the unit. This unlocks the floating mechanism and the unit beeps and displays a leveled horizontal green laser light. You press the "V/H" button repeatedly to cycle through and turn on each of the laser displays, to add multiple lasers in each plane. When the instrument is tilted more than 3 degrees in any plane, the unit will be to let you know that the instrument is out of the automatic compensation range by flashing the laser light and beeping. The "L" of the "P/L" button is used to turn off that warning beep and let you set your line manually at any angle. The mechanism is not locked when in manual mode. The pulse mode, gives you two power settings, what I'll call regular and high. What I do like is that there are indicators on the main panel that light up to clearly show you what mode you are in. Another indicator lights when the batteries are low.The instrument uses two Lithium Ion power cells (type 18650). The package came with 4 batteries, one which was dead (0.5 volts) and not useable. The provided USB powered charger charges the batteries in 2 to 3 hours. A 22 inch Type "A" USB to type "C" USB charger cord is provided. The charger has the type "C" as its input. In order to charge the level you have to remove the batteries and place them in the charger. The level cannot be powered externally, it has no external jacks for an external power supply. Fortunately, the batteries are easy to change without tools. The charger has indicators for each battery that turn from red to green when the batteries are charged.The included accessories are pretty neat. The Lift Table is great for those times when you need make very small adjustments in height or rotation of the level. Each of the feet are adjustable and an "eye" bubble is available to make table leveling adjustments. With all the bottom feet screwed in, the table can elevate the level from about 2.25 inches to about 4 inches (measured at the bottom of the level). A knob lets you rotate the level 360 degrees. The Magnetic mount features a set of very strong magnets that hold the level securely. Each has a knob for tilt and the rotation mechanism as well. The level can also be moved towards or away from the magnets via another knob adjustment.The level comes with a nice fitted zipper carry case. Everything included has a precut place in the case.Recommended. I do suggest that you get a good tripod to use this level with to expand on its versatility. The level accommodates a standard (USA 1/4-20) camera mount.
