Love the look and feel
I can’t say enough how much I LOVE using this nib. I usually use micron pens but I LOVE the variety this nib brings and how pleasant it is to use. I do find it sometimes bleeds a little when applying on my arches cold press paper. Seems like it wants to run a little bit with the tooth or the paper at times. Overall though, it wouldn’t stop me from using on that paper. Excellent and a great price point. I’m so excited every time I can use it in my watercolor business.

A good nib for flexible pointed calligraphy
This is a hard nib to master if you've only used pointed non-flexible or italic nibs before. I had to clean this 3 times with hot water, soap, spit, fire, and toothpaste before I could get a proper ink flow (Speedball SuperBlack ink). Even so, the flexible nature causes a lot of railroading or ink blobs if you're not careful and steady-handed. My calligraphy has never looked so great now that I've (almost) figured out how to use it. It takes practice, but my letters have that thick-thin look that's normally associated with the spencerian or copperplate lettering. The tines don't spread as far as I expected so I won't be using this for large writing, but 0.5" tall letters work well for this nib. That's perfect for birthday and other handwritten cards (my primary use). The price for this one is probably more than I should have paid. i realized later that I could get this nib cheaper elsewhere, but it's still a good nib and a classic one.

I love it!
I've been doing pointed pen calligraphy for about a year now and I've had my eye set on this nib for awhile. It does NOT disappoint. It's a bit stiffer than the nibs I'm used to (Nikko G, Hunt) and it's taking a bit of time to get used to. But now that I've figured it out, I don't want to write with anything else. It holds and makes the ink flow so well. I feel like i have the most control over my writing with this nib. I wish I bought it sooner! I can't wait to do some calligraphy jobs with this nib!

Great Nib
This nib really seems to hold a ton of ink. I can write for several sentences before I run out of ink, which I love. I'm not a calligrapher, I just enjoy using a dip pen for writing in my junk journals. Highly recommend this nib. Just make sure you prep the nib by removing the oil from it before its first use and it will write like a dream. Tip: this may sound gross, but using a little saliva on a tissue to gently rub the oil off the nib works great. You can also rub a little 90% alcohol on it. If you do not prep your nib, it will hold very little ink. And I find Sumi ink works wonderfully with the nib as well.

Essential Nib for Lettering
The "blue pumpkins" are great for line variation, and one of the easiest nibs to control.

Good quality
A bit of a learning curve. I'm a fountain pen fan and never used a dip pen before. I haven't used this nib a ton, but every time I do it still looks as good as new after. I've seen videos of people using this exact nib doing some amazing calligraphy, hopefully I'll get there one day.

Aynı ürünü daha önce de aldım ve bir pakette 50 adet uç geldi. Bugün teslim aldığım kargoda 1 tek uç gönderilmiş. 400 küsur liraya 1 tek kaligrafi ucu sattınız. Acilen telaffi edilmesini talep ediyorum.
