Excellent option, for small areas.
I purchased this to stamp a small section of concrete that I was putting in next to a very similar stamped pattern driveway. This works very well, as long as you have the cement mixture perfect. If it’s too runny, then after you stamp it, then the cement will just fill in the pattern. If it’s too thick, then it will not cut the pattern deep enough.I would not recommend this for larger areas. With only one stamp, you will not be able to do an area very large before the cement hardens too much to except the pattern. If you need to do a large section, then you will need to purchase multiple stamps to cover the area adequately. It is made of a thick rubbery material, it should last for many uses as long as it is not abused. I purchased this used, for the price I paid. It is an excellent value.I would recommend that you do a few trials with your cement mixture. Start with it being a little thick, then add additional water until you can easily press the pattern into the cement, and it doesn’t fill back in when the stamp is lifted. I would also have a rounded mortar jointer tool available to help you press any shallow patterns slightly deeper.

FIRST TIME STAMPED CONCRETE LOOKS GREAT
I bought these because I'm building a house with a concrete porch and I suck at finishing concrete. These stamps were very easy to use for a first time concrete stamper. Poured the concrete, ran an edger on it, dusted it with release powder, and stamped it in. I used a hand held compactor on a 6'x40' porch and it turned out great. It took a minute to figure out how the four pads were supposed to go together but I puzzled it out days before we poured the concrete. I was very pleased with the finished product and have had many compliments on it. It looks great.

Appearance and feel of heavy duty
Haven't used them yet but they are quite heavy and robust. I'm pretty confident they will do the job for sidewalk I'm planning to pour this summer in front of my residence. Pattern is pretty straight forward and don't get confused about comments stating the pattern is identical for all four colours. This is normal and the four colours just ensure you don't repeat same pattern throughout large surface. I purchased a can of coloured release agent and can't wait to start. Will followup with pix of completed project when done.
