Color Mini Pellets, Sinking, 3.5 oz

I love these because some of them float in some of them sink, but my water always stays clear. Also they have a much higher percentage of actual real food than other brands. I've been using this for years and my fish live long healthy lives and stay beautiful the whole time!

I rescue animals. Once rescued they forget where they came from lol. My fishes only eat this (spoiled). Excellent food. Delivery was prompt and as stated. Recommend seller.

The label says SLOW SINKING but it sinks pretty fast, or at least the stuff I bought sinks fast. My Tetras seem to like it though. I cannot comment on taste however as I haven't eaten any of it yet. Yes, review asks me to comment on taste and quality but I really have NO CLUE on either. I will continue to buy it in today's terrible inflated "economy". John

My goldfish is small and can't eat larger food. I wanted something I could feed him which would fall to the bottom fairly quickly but which he could see and 'catch' on its way. Sometimes I take a very tiny amount and toss it down at the water and it sinks right away. It's a very small size of pellet and my fish has no problems eating it. He seems to like it the taste of it. And this quantity ought to last quite a while as long as it's kept sealed and out of heat, so it's a great value too.

OMEGA One makes great products! The One Colour Mini Pellet is new to me and I bought it for my Barbs. So far they love it and I am hoping that this will bring out more of their orange colour. Buying my OMEGA fish food through Amazon is so much cheaper then my stores can sell it for and then next day or two to my door, just great!

My fish, shrimp and snails all seem to like it quite a bit. The top/mid feeders hardly let any of it sink to the bottom of the tank (once it gets water logged enough to sink that is). If I gently place/sprinkle the food close to the water's surface, the pellets will float for about a minute or so before sinking. If I toss it at the water, the pellets tend to sink almost immediately, which means I can custom tailor the type of feeding I want to do for the various fish in my tank (ie, top/mid/bottom feeders). This makes it easy to gently place the pellets on the water at end of the tank to have it float for a bit, while tossing it at the water on the other end to have it sink quickly, thus allowing everyone in the tank the time needed to get to the pellets without one type of fish species hogging it all. While these Omega One Colour "mini" pellets are rather small, and many smaller fish (like white cloud mountain minnows, neon tetras, chili rasboras and and CPD's) can eat them, these pellets are still a tiny bit bigger than the Hikari Tropical Semi-Floating Micro Pellets (which I also use, and are easier to eat for the fish mentioned). For those of you wondering about the overall size of these pellets when compared to other types available on Amazon, I have attached a picture showing (from left to right), the Hikari Tropical Micro pellets (which are more expensive, but my fish go crazy for it, probably due to it's smaller pellet size), Omega One Color Mini (the one this review is about), OmegaSea Veggie Mini (but Amazon has it listed as "micro" for some reason), and regular freeze dried blood worms (which I feed once in a blue moon along with a bit of zucchini for the snails and shrimp, as well as some regular tropical flake food for everyone else). This variety of food makes is so nothing in the tank gets bored of feeding on the same thing all the time.
