I could not find this at a store near me. I had a water spot on my butcher block countertop, from my iron. This stuff was amazing. I'd never heard of it before. Took the spot right off, super quick. I did make sure to thoroughly clean the area after applying this. I have had no problems.

I used this in an alcohol lamp to re-pad my clarinet and the flame burns extremely clean - there was absolutely no smoke or residue on the instrument afterward.

I bought this to dissolve shellac flakes that I also bought here at the same time. (Due to Covid, I had to buy online.) This was my first time using both denatured alcohol and shellac flakes vs the ready-made, canned shellac you buy at the store. Shellac has a short shelf life, and I was wasting most of the money I paid for a can because it would go bad long before I could use it up. With the flakes, there is no waste because you mix up only what you plan to use over a short period of time. I chose this particular brand because it was one of the few available in quart size, and the price was significantly less than other choices. There is no indication of purity on the can so I was a little concerned about that, but it completely dissolved the shellac flakes in less than 2 hrs. (I did shake the jar vigorously every 10-15 mins to hasten the process.)The cover was almost impossible to get off the can the first time, even for hubby. We struggled with that for at least 10-15 minutes. It gets easier every time it's opened, however. Another problem is pouring from the can....it makes a MESS, and you must hold it over something to catch what slops out when pouring. The opening should be at one end of the can rather than in the middle. Maybe that would help.Overall, the product did what I bought it for, so I'm satisfied with that. The container needs work, though, and it's annoying enough that I docked one star for that reason.

I purchased this after trying 90% rubbing alcohol with no luck. Once I dried the wick and soaked it the lamp lights every time and burns clean.I use an alcohol lamp to melt the wax to seal envelopes so having a fuel that burns clean is very important as I do it inside of my house.My only comment is that this fuel evaporates easily so you need to be sure that whatever you're using it in seal well of it will evaporate withing a few days.

I use it as fuel for a stirling engine. Burns clean no residue doesn’t even turn wick brown. The plastic child proof safety ring on the cap sucks but they are on everything these days. Just pry or cut the plastic safety ring off and the metal lid screws on or off easily. Although now it’s a highly flammable that’s not child proof may want to keep an eye on the kids ( who can probably open the safety ring easier than adults anyway )

I had the impossible task of replacing my isopropyl alcohol cleaner,...couldn't find any,...anywhere. This stuff is stronger than isopropyl and is a quicker clean. However, this is flammable; but, so is isopropyl 91%. I got the quart size and I store it in the fridge,...problem solved. This stuff EASILY STRIPS or DISSOLVE WAX. You will be impressed with how they package the product such that it can be placed in the USPS mail.

I purchased this to power a small Stirling engine that requires denatured alcohol. I did not want a gallon of alcohol, so this small container was just right both in quantity and price for my needs. It burns cleanly and powers my little model engine perfectly.
