Great plastic putty knives
I've bought these a few times now and I love them. They are great to use for multiple purposes. I also use them to smooth out tape when taping before painting. They are not super sharp but have a nice fine edge. The different sizes they come with are a great variety too.

Handy Set for Small Projects
This little set came in really handy for patching a few nail holes and scraping off old caulk. The three different sizes make it easy to get into corners or spread spackle on bigger areas without switching tools mid-job. The plastic isn’t heavy-duty like metal, but that’s kind of the point, they’re lightweight, easy to clean, and perfect for quick touch-ups or light scraping. I didn’t have to worry about scratching surfaces, which was nice for painted walls. For small DIY fixes or a one-time project, these are an inexpensive, practical option that gets the job done without overthinking it.

Durable Plastic Knife Set
One of the standout features of this knife set is its versatility. The three different knives included—putty knife, taping knife, and joint knife—cover a wide range of applications, from spreading putty and spackling to applying drywall tape and joint compound. Each knife is expertly crafted for its specific task, ensuring precise and efficient results every time. Despite being made of plastic, these knives are surprisingly durable and sturdy. The high-quality construction withstands heavy use without bending or breaking, making them suitable for both professional and DIY projects alike. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Red Devil 4718 3-Piece Plastic Knife Set to anyone in need of reliable and versatile knives for a variety of projects. With its durable construction, comfortable grip, and affordable price point, it's a must-have addition to any toolkit.

Surprisingly Handy for Quick Fixes!
I picked up this 3-piece plastic knife set on a whim for a small drywall patching project, and honestly, it did exactly what I needed. The different sizes are super helpful — the smallest one was perfect for filling nail holes, and the larger ones worked great for spreading spackle. They're lightweight and easy to clean, and I like that I don’t have to worry about ruining a nice metal tool when working on messier projects. Are they heavy-duty? Not at all. But for quick home repairs or craft projects, they’re perfect — and at this price, you really can’t go wrong. If you're doing light work around the house and want something simple and disposable, this set is a great little helper to have in your toolbox.

Nice Product.
Have used Red Devil products in the past and will continue in the future. The project I worked on went easier with plastic putty knives than a metal one. Easy to use. Handle was comfortable. Thick enough to remain rigid but flexible enough to spread even. These were exactly what I needed to get a project done and they will be available in the tool chest for future projects.

I don't get what the fuss is about...(Honest)
I do NOT understand these negative reviews at all. "Too flimsy!" No...they bend but people make them seem like paper! These bend enough to lay spackle down perfectly. "Breaks easily!" - Nope! How hard are you pressing!? Do you know how to spackle a wall? "Cheap Piece of crap" - Cheap yes...crap? No. People expect stainless steel set of 3 for $5? lol "Chips the plastic easily" - Again, what are you doing!? Its like some people are scraping the living hell out of their walls with these putty knives. Or trying to spackle brick. I don't know...hope not. I am soo glad I went with my gut on these because they are fantastic. Super cheap, sturdy, and fixed the holes in my wall. If you don't know how to spackle...just look up a youtube video. If you break these by pressing too hard, stop spackling... Also...its $5! (Note) I am using these with the Red Devil, light weight spackle. Maybe people are using the heavy duty stuff that is like concrete which again...learn to spackle...buy the stainless steel tools. Even then, these tools would not break. (Giving them the benefit of the doubt...) Get it, use, love it, you're welcome.

These are great
There are SO MANY OCCASIONS when you need a scraper or spreader that is not metal! And these fit the bill – stiff plastic that is pretty perfect for picking off paint drips, pressing caulk into a crevice, pressing filler into cracks (though I usually go with steel tools for that). These are great quality, and can be resharpened with a mill bastard file followed by a wood scraper (don't use sandpaper). I've got three sets of these, from different manufacturers. These are more flexible than others, which is good for certain applications (again, caulk, etc). The real reason I have three sets is that my garage is packed full of tools and I have a hard time finding things now. I believe my tools have achieved sentience, and are now able to hide themselves from me. That is the only reasonable explanation.

A little too stiff for easily applying spackle, I'd recommend a thin metal one instead.
I should have gotten a thin metal spackle knife instead, I bought these in a rush, and they are underwhelming at best. They do work, but spackle tends to stick more to these plastic knives for some reason. I finished spackling several rooms before painting, but for better results, get a slightly more expensive, thin metal version, in my opinion.

Great value for the three pack. Did the job of spreading spackle well and using one to scrap stuff of walls. Sturdy plastic. It doesn't feel too flimsy and feels like they will last.

a great little set for applying polly-filla, or or any other drywall repair compound. Plastic, easy to clean, and not brittle.

Son muy practicas y útiles pero son algo fragiles, la mas pequeña se me rompió aun y cuando no le aplique mucha fuerza
