BACOENG Motorized Ball Valve, 1/2" DN15 Electrical Ball Valve, 2 Way 110VAC Stainless Steel NC Electric Water Valve

I already have 1/2 in version of this valve and just to be clear , it is good and has lasted over 3 years outdoors in Fl , no issues. So I review the product as good. I went to buy this 3/4 version and saw it was 72USD, not bad and then saw a return was available at 37 USD, good as new, so no worries selected that , order taken. Ready for shipping notice then a cancellation notice as no longer available ???? Something went wrong but still needed valve so ordered new. Strange how " new item " came in open , torn box, with clear markings on it of being handled and opened etc. AITA for thinking this is same freaking returned item. SO it will get returned , first I will order new so as not to get this one recycled to me and see what happens.

My 3/4 valve is normally closed, when 110VAC is applied the valve starts to open within 1 second. When the power is removed it starts to close within 1 second. It takes almost 3 full seconds fully stroke. The motor is not loud. This product is exactly as advertised and I am very happy with the aesthetics and build quality.

Although low cost as compared with industrial versions, this valve works very well. I tasked it with closing my air compressor discharge since my quick disconnects and reels tend to leak down and charging a 60gal tank every 6-8hrs pains me to no end. I also took advantage of an Apple HomeKit 120V receptacle to both open the valve and enable the compressor contactor such that a single remote activation opened the valve and allows the compressor/tank to recharge itself. The valve holds 120-150psi for 5-7 days at a time. I’m convinced this ball valve is not the reason it doesn’t hold for longer, rather the check valve(s) on the compressor cylinders. Thus, I’ve very please with the installation and operation of this 120V motor/spring actuated ball valve. I highly recommend.

Valve didn’t work for me. Return spring weakened and quit closing completely. May have just gotten a bad one. Needed a capacitor return valve. Seller was excellent and gave me a refund quickly. Would shop with this seller again. Thanks

The media could not be loaded. Appears well built. I used it with a normally closed float valve. When the tank is low the float applies power to the valve. When the valve is powered on the valve opens. We will see how long it last.

Keep in mind that a solenoid valve has only a pinhole opening. I made a mistake trying to use use a solenoid valve for purging a debris filter. Obviously the wood chips will not pass trough plugging the filter. Then better pay more money to get the right thing. This valve has the same opening as a ball valve. We purge the debris filter daily for few months now and the valve works flawlessly. Since the filter is below the deck of our house we can turn the valve with a turn of a switch inside the house rather than opening the hatch and going below the deck every day. Great for the application,

When we leave home with our camper, we like to have water in the freshwater tank. We need to run a hose from the spigot at the back of the house to the driveway where the camper is. I decided it would be quicker to have Alexa turn the water on and off for me. We have a switched outdoor outlet for Christmas decorations under Alexa control. We have Alexa in the camper.I have put garden hose connections on the valve, and use it free standing.As someone else pointed out, this valve doesn’t use a spring to close. When I received it, I powered it up and watched it open. Then I unplugged it and expected it to close. It did not. I cycled it a couple more times and it stayed open. Then I left it powered for about a half hour. After that it opened and closed as it should. That is not the way a spring would work, but it is the way a battery that needed charged would work. Now that I know what it needs to operate reliably, I can deal with it. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the untruthful description.

I am somewhat of a home automation nut and purchased this valve to incorporate into my current setup. Using the second relay on my Pentair Intelliconnect, I can remotely energize and deenergize this valve to add water to my pool.This saves me the time and hassle of having to drag out the water hose a couple of times a week due to water evaporation. And, because I tapped into the 1" line feeding my sprinkler system, I'm able to fill the pool much faster compared to a 1/2" water hose!The solution perfectly accomplished the desired results!

Its about time someone married a solid ball valve with a motor to turn it in a application for heating. Also, finally a motor that is powered by 120vac instead of pain in the butt 24vac, something which always required me to wire in extra relays.

Very satisfied with the product, I use it for shuting off my main water of the house with Alexa control by a smart switch.Very easy to set up.
