I purchased these hangers to replace the mismatched ones that stored our jackets/coats in the coat closet. They are great! Strong and sturdy, and have the rubber tip on the hook that I thought I wouldn't care about, but love that feature.

These hangers work well for me. The tips are protected with a cover. The hangers are strong enough to hold many items on one hanger. The hangers also look great in the closet with the gold color.

Wow, we got rid of all the plastic hangers and replaced them with these retro metal hangers and gained 30% of our closet rack back.

I purchased this set of 30 Stainless Steel Strong Hangers for $32.90 (which comes to approximately $1.10 per hanger). I ended up buying several more packages and have replaced all of the hangers in the house with them. They have really classed up the closets... AND they actually save a lot of space since they're skinnier than the standard plastic hangers. They're gorgeous looking and a very unique household essential. Generally speaking, in terms of standard clothing hangers, they're very thick and durable. They're large enough to accommodate XL men's clothes. However, in my estimation, they may be a little small for heavy winter coats and fluffy jackets.The bilateral notches help keep garments in place. The texture of the steel seems to serve this purpose as well.The loop contains a small clear cap or nub (I believe it's rubber and plastic). This prevents the hanger from making a grating noise on the closet rod. It also protects the hanger and rod from getting scratched up and enables it to glide across the surface smoothly. Another benefit: It prevents the end of the hanger hook from stabbing your hand!After several months, none have broke or rusted. I occasionally hang damp clothes from hangers; eg: Delicate shirts. I prefer to dry them on the hanger they'll be hung on so I may then transfer them directly to the closet when dry. I'm not going to mess around with changing out hangers for this purpose. Therefore, I EXPECT these to not rust. If I'm disappointed I will surely update this review STAT!Comparing to the Competition:The only similar hangers I've located on Amazon (or anywhere else for that matter) are the ZICOME Stainless Steel Hangers. These hangers currently run $16.90 for a set of 10, which comes to approximately $1.70 per hanger. Overall, the shape is the same and they both have the protective cap on the hook end, but they're about 0.5" wider and about the same height. The ZICOME hangers are made from a slightly thicker gauge steel so they're a little bit stronger and durable. Aesthetically speaking, I believe they're equitable as they're both classy and unique (it's rare to find stainless steel hangers, especially with notches).My assessment of each stainless steel hanger is in line with the cost. The ZICOME hangers are higher quality but cost about 54% more than the Sorplus hangers. I really like both but I reserve the ZICOME hangers for large jackets. If you're needing to hang up especially heavy or oversized garments such as thick winter coats, I would go with ZICOME. However, the extended width almost makes them a little too big for small sized camisoles. I found that the Sorplus hangers work better for these. If you're looking for basic garment storage and want to maximize the value of the amount you spend, then I recommend Sorplus

All the hangers (both wood and plastic ones) that I purchased at my local Home Goods store just kept breaking. Also, the wood ones take up space in the closet. These are large enough (even though not wide enough) for a coat but also thin enough for a dress. The tip of the hanger has a plastic nub so that it is not sharp. There are also indentations for those shirts that have the clothing loops to keep them from falling off the hanger. I am so pleased with these. I am even more pleased that I purchased these for $27.19 when Amazon was having their Black Friday sale as it comes to $0.91 cents per hanger. I will definitely order more if I need them.

Very happy with these hangers. They weren't the cheapest of the thick metal hangers but they were the ones with the best reviews.I use hangers both for the usual storage of clothes in closets and to hang dry clothes (I dry until damp and wrinkle-free). I prefer not to use plastic for environmental reasons. Plus plastic breaks often and takes up space. Wooden hangers are very thick and I haven't found them to hold a lot of garments.I have found that most hangers, plastic and wood, do not hold women's XL shirts. The neck openings are wider and the shirts just slide right off. I use extra long plastic hangers (the kind with no bar underneath) but they break a lot. But these metal hangers hold all the XL shirts, much to my surprise. They even hold tank tops and camisoles that need an indentation so the straps don't slip. The little dip of the metal works really well. My husband's XS shirts also fit well on these hangers.No, these aren't a replacement for every hanger I own. I still have fold-down pants hangers, clippy skirt hangers, small hangers for kids, and heavy-duty wooden hangers for coats. And I use some of the wooden or better plastic hangers for fancier clothes and knits that might distort otherwise.Overall though, I'm very pleased with this purchase. The bonus being that 30 metal hangers take up so much less space than 30 basic plastic ones. Now, if only manufacturers would carefully finish the end instead of relying on a plastic cap.

These hangers are sturdy, matches my aesthetic perfectly.

Previously I was using some old mismatched plastic hangers that were yellowing due to age and I wanted something nicer. I didn't think these would actually bring me that much joy but the slimness of these hangers are very nice; my hung clothes actually take up much less space in the closet just from the space savings of these metal hangers being thinner than the old plastic hangers. I also had some old cheap dry cleaning wire hangers but I didn't like using those; these feel much sturdier and have a more premium feel with the thicker metal while still being lightweight. Another reviewer mentioned some of their hangers missing the rubber nubs at the bottom of each hook but all of my hangers had their rubber nubs.Now every time I open my closet, I get a little OCD joy from seeing the conformity of the hangers and their gold glint.

These are very robust hangers. We always had trouble hanging work parkas and insulated coveralls in a closet or over a heat register to dry. Plastic would collapse within minutes. Standard wire hangers would collapse with in hours. Resorted to using four wire hangers (two for the parka and two for the coveralls). The wire hangers (original) were .087 inch dia. these Stainless steel ones are .130 inch dia. Much stronger. I can now hang the work parkas and insulated coveralls on one hanger. As for the material, I do believe it is a mild stainless steel. It shows a very weak attraction to a magnet. Maybe expensive but well worth the money.
