Does this clean old grease and oil off so new oil and grease can be applied?

WD 40 may serve you better for this task. I use the Penn product for more superficial cleaning post use.

Does it damage the line if it is sprayed on the fishing line like braid?

I don't think so because I have unintentionally done the same with all my reels and nothing happened to the line.

Is the cleaner a protectent also? (for next fishing trip?) is it like corrosion x?

I fish salt water and this has protected my reels to the max

Will this have any affect on braided line over time?

I have used this product for a couple years. I do not spray it directly on braid but I am sure some over-spray gets on the line on the spool. I have not had a problem.

Pas mal mais...

Bon produit d'une odeur agréable pas agressive nettoie plutôt bien mais le Probléme c'est le côté un peux lubrifier ( gras ) qu'il laisse sur la matière traité.
