Without a doubt, this is probably the best price per foot fly line I have ever purchased, and I have purchased many, many fly lines in the past 60 years. I'm sure many professionals would beg to differ, but for the average fly fisherman out there, this is a surprisingly good fly line for the price. It casts well and floats high in the water. I have put the welded leader loop through the "acid test" fishing 15# leaders for carp and it has held up!

Piscifun Fly lines weren't know to me until i was refereed to try one out. First impressions when i received my new line was the box was very well packaged and I'm happy that the company does NOT use plastic spools to warp the line it. I wish the larger manufactures would follow this approach. So upon lawn casting the Sword line i was surprised as it shoots & loads my 4wt EDGE rod well. It is definitely a great line well worth the money vs performance. I would encourage people to try this line. They will be impressed!

Casting to spooky fish in a competition requires accuracy and a delicate presentation. I've fished with lines costing 3 times as much and had inferior performance.This sword line will shoot like a dream. It lays out beautifully and is super slick. Welded loop end makes changing leaders quick and easy. You could spend two or three times as much for line that doesn't preform like this, but why?

I bought the 5 wt blue line for my Orvis clearwater 5wt.It floats great on the water. looks great and casts real good.It was very easy to load on my reel, as it came off the spoolperfectly.

This is the second line I have purchased from Piscifun. The first was a 5wt and the short casting ability was poor at best. The line was way too rough to cast well. I contacted the company and they said they were working on a fix. This past spring I received my replacement line and it is remarkedly better. So much so that I purchased this 6wt line. It cast very well both short and long. Great customer service

I fish this on a 7wt glass rod and it casts well and the quality is good. For shorter casts, I would get something that is a bit heavier in the front of the line. However, if you're looking to chuck some bigger flies at a distant, you won't be disappointed. I've also had to contact Piscifun about a reel and they were easy to deal with. They're definitely focused on customer service.

Seems to cast great, catches fish, cool color...and that’s all I was looking for!

I took my fly rod/reel which had just been spooled up with this Pisci 5W line out for a swim today. Like so many others I scoffed at the quality based on the price but figured I'd try the Sword line anyway and man am I glad I did. I'm new to flyfishing but am experimenting with this; " does the fly line price and or quality really matter"?Well, the astounding answer is "Yes", and Pisci delivers the goods. I had no trouble with memory, the line spooled off the reel perfectly. My casts ended where I pointed them, and frankly I will suggest that this line is on the same level as many other higher costing brands such as SA, Rio, etc in terms of mid priced lines, not the Amplitude or Gold premium offerings.I'm sold on Piscifun (I believe it's pronounced pea-sea...Latin is a dead language and I speak English so take that for what it's worth).Piscifun is producing quality products at very reasonable prices and the customer reeps the benefit.Thank you Piscifun for making fly fishing gear affordable for the average guy/gal.PS I also own their cnc machined reel which is also of a higher quality, it's aluminum and not plastic. Che c k them out as well.

After the wrong line was originally sent and some excellent customer service from Piscifun I have received a good quality product. It might not be the same,standard as Hardys or Loop but it does the job and feels nice on the cast.

Having not used it in anger yet all I can say is it feels smooth when I put on the reel and had a few practice casts in our field and it cast ok.

No worries here! This is a great line for the money. Very happy, supple, good distance and low memory. Well worth it.

Looks just right not used it yet as such except a few roll casts in the garden,looking foreward to giving it a try when the weather is a bit better

As a intermediate fly fisher I found this to be awkward to cast with.Read reviews and decided to try . Used for 10 casts or so before returning to my old line which casts so much easier . Main reason I bought was for the loop on end and the price but just didn’t get on with it
