thin and flimsy parts, only holds rain for about 3'
I bought 3 chains - took 45 mins to assemble (each "plate" is separate piece to assemble)I thought - great! I got it licked - need to gingerly move it around or the pieces come off.finally got it connected to the gutter - then as water came off the gutter, it came down the chain about 3'-4' and then sprayed everywhere....waste of time and $$ IMO

You have to put each piece of each link together
I've reviewed the sales description and I don't see anywhere that it explains that you have to actually construct it. It is not difficult but it does take a bit of time. It looks cool, but be prepared for the extra time needed.

I’m very pleased with my purchase
I did have to cut my guttering a little bit to make this fit but overall I’m very pleased with the way it looks. I haven’t had a major rain storm to watch at work but I’m glad I did it

Beautiful Design
I love the design of the individual segments, it seems very Art Deco to me. It went together very easily, you get into a rhythm, and are essentially building it backwards, and the great thing about it is that you make it exactly as long as you need it. In the future I hope to post a picture, but I am very happy with it. So far we have just had light rain since I put it together, this fall will be the real test!

pretty groovy
it's a little work to put these together, but not terribly challenging. They'll fit right through the hole your downspout leaves when you remove it from your home, or you can drill a 3" hole with a holesaw where you want it.It's actually really nice to watch the water freeze on it as it trickles down.Note: MAKE SURE to measure the height that you need... this is long enough for a flat single-story dwelling with no stairs. If you have to go up stairs to get in your front door, you may want something longer or to buy an extra kit.
