Can I use LED lights or halogen only?

The LED lights I tried in it didn't fit properly because of the factory clip system on the housing not working with the LED bulbs. Maybe if you use an LED bulb with a wired tail to the inverter and a mesh heatsink, it'll work, but anything with an attached bulky heatsink or chipset is unlikely to fit without adapters.

So just to be clear, all factory bulbs will fit in these headlamp assemblies?

yes but there might be some modification to make them fit right to lock in. Bulb adjustment does not work on either low beam and high beam, I can not get my high beams to adjust down and my low beams I can't get to adjust upward. Professionally installed so it is not install error. I would stay clear from these.
