A History Of South East Asia,
B**Z
INFORMATIVE AND ACCURATE
A dry, textbook-style but covers everything essential to the history of SE Asia including American involvement.

the fonts are fine.
Well written, clear survey of the topic. Covers each main area and culture in early, mid, and modern times. Shows the influences of Indian, Chinese, and in later times Western cultures and how they combined to create unique blends each different from the other. I don’t understand the complaints from other readers...the fonts are fine.

Good book so far
Good book so far. But I can't help thinking that to properly appreciate the history I would need to read this with a detailed map.

Superficial, No Coherence or Grand Arguments
Overloaded by dates and names, not sure reader learns any major takeaways from the book. Reads more like a chronology of events, very descriptive (vs. analytical), and readers may feel like they learned little about the region. Definitely not a Social History of the region. Thailand gets minimal coverage compared to the other countries.

POORLY ADVISED BY DESCRIPTION
I am VERY DISAPPOINTED as the description says "narrates" so I assumed it was audio!! Also, I cannot read as the font is SO VERY SMALL. I would like my money back.
