Dr. Beasley's Matte Wheel Cleanser 32 fl oz - Restores Matte, Satin Powder Coated Finish to Original Look, Removes Brake Dust, Road Grime, No Fillers or Residue, Safe pH Balanced

It does a good job at cleaning my TRD Pro matte black rims. It’s a little overpriced for a cleaner.

I have Volk te37s and they are powder coated bronze. They are pretty difficult to keep clean in spite of the dark color. I have tried a few other products. This is the better ones out of most of them. You wash your wheel with car wash soap and water. Rinse/dry. Then do this cleaner. I use this with a clean white used t-shirt twice. The finish is MUCH better afterwards. If I don’t use matte type products. The finish appears faded and/or will have water spots that show especially much more than normal finish. This is just the nature of the matte finish. And then you finish with the sealant. But I havent done that yet. I am only rating the cleaner for now.

I can't imagine there being a better product out there for matte wheels. Mt Toyota TRD wheels are very difficult to clean without harming the matte black finish. I tried other products that do more harm to the finish than good. This removed all the cleaner and wax residue from other products in addition to all brakes dust and road grime from driving. Wheels literally look new. I will continue to use this product. It's definitely pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Good product, works well

I purchased this product to use on my matte black wheels hoping that it would make the cleaning process of the wheels quicker and keep the dirt off them as long as possible. Unfortunely I did not find the product to do neither. I've used similar products that were much cheaper and have had the same results with this product. The first time I used the product I rinsed my wheels with water, covered the wheels with Dr. Beasley's, scrubbed the wheel with a microfiber brush and towel, rinsed with water, and dryed with a microfiber towel. The finish on the wheels looked a bit shinier after, but I could still see small areas of dirt in parts of the wheel even after the cleaning process I stated above. The product did work better than using just car wash soap to clean my wheels but was not really the miracle worker I was looking for. If the product was cheaper I'd possibly consider purchasing again, but with results I had I would not purchase this product again.

If you have matte finish wheels are don't want to use harsh chemicals which may affect the finish, this is the product you want to purchase. Pricey but definitely worth it.
