Don't use these near molten lava!
My son bought these. I always perceived VR goggles as gimmicky,, but I tried them. I have to say, I was blown away. If you've never experienced encompassing video from your phone, you'll be impressed. It's definitely worth the money.About this item specifically, he had a little trouble tinkering to get his phone placed properly. The goggles interfered with the buttons and touchscreen a bit, but after a few adjustments it was good to go.They were surprisingly comfortable. Before he brought it, he read reviews and these were highly rated for comfort. I concur. There are definitely a great value. There are VR goggles at triple the price, but they could not have been three times better.Only one negative, and it is tiny but significant enough to mention. To install the phone you flip a latch open and the lid flops down. Twice it opened as he was putting the goggles on, and his phone fell out. Make sure it's completely closed before putting them on.You want to stand up with room to move. Needless to say, not a good product to use in close proximity to large amounts of glassware, chainsaws, or molten lava. Other than that, it's definitely a good experience.

This does not fit ANY phone
I reserve one star ratings for deceptive products and outright scams. There's no way this fits any phone, I'd like to know what phone any reviewers who positively rated this have. There's a spring-loaded clamping mechanism that holds your phone in from both sides. The clamping mechanism presses your power and volume buttons no matter what you do, On my galaxy - This shuts off my phone. I can't think of a phone that doesn't have buttons on the side, Can you?

but the packaging is great and it seemed to work or when I just ...
so my phone is to thick to close the visor. I probably could take off the phone cover since it does add a little thickness to it. But 150 dollar phone at risk to use a 10 dollar vr googles no choice to it. but the packaging is great and it seemed to work or when I just held the visor closed. I do think better instructions in use is necessary as well.

You don’t have to spend $800 for VR
For the money, these are a most wonderful pair of VR glasses I have seen several. I use the Samsung gear which is a Cadillac of VR glasses and amazing. These have all the same features for the most part definitely for the difference in price wonderful, I’ve had a great time using them.

Good quality for the price
I own several different types of these, as many "brands" contract overseas to make them, so many of the same types are labeled for different brands, although being the exact same. For the price, these are comfortable than the other ones. The straps and padding are the best I've had. And it's the easiest one I've owned to set your phone in. I'm strictly referring to the models within this $10-15 price range. 4 stars simply because no magnetic switch. Other than that, good buy for the price range.

Wasn't all that impressed. If you have a side button on/off switch on your phone, such as samsung, the holders will shut your phone off. I returned it.

Not bad for $9, does the job.
You definitely get what you pay for! Not what was pictured online or on box. I had it delivered to my office and was wondering why everyone kept saying, "sandwich" when they walked by...(see pictures). All in all not bad, very basic VR setup. Well worth $9 even though it is Afghanistan Bazaar quality product. Surprisingly cool visual experience.
