I purchased 3 collapsible hatboxes from 3 different sellers at the same time. This felt hat box is my favorite and is the best value for money as well as pleasing to look at. I have many hats and many different sizes. I store the hat boxes stacked in a corner in my bedroom. The quality of the felt and the construction of this box is superior and even the plastic see through lid is of a thicker plastic than the other two brands I purchased. My husband cut a roll of corrugated cardboard for me to line the sides of the hat boxes allowing me to stack several collapsible boxes on top of each other. The cardboard rolls up easily when I want to remove the hats and collapse the box. I have 4 nice hats loosely stored in this felt hat box. I would love a 19" felt hat box size - I would purchase immediately for my wide brimmed sun hats!

I wish I could return this. It looked great but I wasn’t ready to put my summer hats in it yet. And storing it in my closet. Summer is over and I attempted to use it but it’s too floppy. And my oversized race track hats won’t fit. Useless purchase I hate it. It’s thin without structure and not really for oversized hats as advertised.

The description specifically says that this box holds hats up to 17" in diameter. My hat is 16.5" and it could not fit in the box without the edges curling up, which I especially bought a box to prevent. The problem is that the box is soft and does not hold its own shape. Theoretically if it was completely stiff it would be 17" in diameter, but because of the sag, I don't think it can hold anything larger than 14-15" without the edges curling. That said, it is not a bad hat box for the price. Comes with a zip lid to keep the dust off. I use it to keep my small floppy hats, but I have to keep looking to store my larger fancy hat.

I love this box. Don’t be fooled by the size of this hat box. It’s made up of a thick, soft gray fabric and has a see through zipped lid. It is surprising sturdy. I have eight summer straw hats stored in it and another four cotton fold up hats ... and it fits perfectly on the top shelf of my closet. You could also use it for storage of lots of other things: children’s soft toys, winter sweaters, summer clothes and craft fabric.

This is a fabulous product! I must have nearly 15 hats loosely stored in here! That wasn't exactly my plan, but after laying my wide brimmed hats neatly in the container I realized I had plenty of room to stack a few more in and around the top sides without mashing them down!The zipper works great, the plastic top is very durable and not thin and the felt is top quality! Very pleased with my purchase and plan to order another one so that I can spread my hats out a bit!
