I use this as my purse, basically. It holds my checkbook, phone, keys, planner- everything. As stated in many previous reviews, the front staying closed is a continuous issue that I've learned to live with. (I wish it had a latch to hold it shut. I may just make one.) I think if it were just one inch thicker, the front would close and I could fit everything inside. I will probably end up getting a thicker case but for what it's worth- if I were to use this as a planner only- it'd be perfect! *That's why I gave it 5 stars.It came with undated pages, address book, ruler/"Today" place holder, zipper pouch, card holder, and front notepad. Honestly, you can't beat that for the price. -The notepad in the front is simply ingenious. It is so, so, so helpful when grocery shopping or running errands!!! The slots in the front flap are NOT trustworthy enough for me to put my precious cards in. (Isn't that why most of us bought a zipped planner in the first place?) Anywho, this planner is definitely worth the money. However, if you plan to keep anything other than the pages provided inside, I'd opt for a thicker planner.

I Love this new planner. The color is a beautiful rich eggplant purple, and the contrasting inside is fantastic. I love that I can use my planner punch to add my own pages as well as buy new inserts as needed. The tab closure is cut so that it slides in easily, but holds when the cover is closed. The inside pockets are perfect to carry ID and business cards. It is the perfect size to carry for meetings, and it fits easily in my tote. A great size to have open on my desk, as well. I can carry and use it when out and about easily since it provides a sturdy writing surface while standing. An added plus is it’s easy to see which planner is mine.

I love this planner! It is just the right size to fit in a medium sized purse or totebag, yet I don't find it bulky. The ring size allows you to store atleast a year of planning pages if you use a 2 page per week style refill, as well as an address/telephone number section and a notepad section in the back. I currently have all of those sections in my planner and it fits perfectly.The only improvements I could suggest for this product would be a zipper at the back for loose change. There is a an open compartment where you could store extra papers but I feel like a zipped pocket would be a great asset. Also the front does not click or lock in, there is simply a tab that is used to close the planner but I find it does not come open to easily and loose papers would still be safe.Overall, this planner is great quality and a good value!

Excellent binder for my needs. I had an older cloth version, but it began to separate at the seams.after using it off and on for five years. I work in the IT field and this binder is the perfect size for me to use and keep notes in. I just used filler paper purchased at a local store and it does the trick! The zipper is nice and good for securing things in. The only minor thing I don't like is the magnetic clasp for the side pocket. I wish it was with a zipper too. No matter, this is a great product for the price!

I really like the compact design of this planner. I'm a commercial truck driver and needed a durable folder with a zipper enclosure to contain and protect my loose-leaf log sheets (they take a smaller sized three-ring binder), so I really didn't need all the extra included stuff - business card flap, calendar sheets, etc - and there were many convenient things included that I simply didn't need. The front also has a magnetic "pull-open sleeve to place ID and business cards......really handy.I went to Office Max looking for something similar prior to finding this and they wanted at least $38 for one not as good as this one.

This is, hands down, the most beautiful planner binder I've ever purchased. The color is gorgeous, inside and out. It has enough personal style to make me happy, yet is professional enough that I'd feel comfortable bringing it into the boardroom. The size is perfect, it's lightweight, and it lays flat on the desk. The vendor, Wayfair, was awesome. I ordered it on Monday, and it arrived on Tuesday. I'd order from them again.And yet I'm returning it. The binder ring mechanism broke within four hours of taking it out of the package, after opening it to load pages only about half a dozen times. Contrast that with Day-Time planner binders I've owned that stand up to years of daily use without ring problems.I'm incredibly disappointed that Day Runner would make a product with such great craftsmanship, and pair it with a ring mechanism not worthy of a dollar store. Your average paper clip is more substantial, better constructed, and stands up to longer wear. That choice is an insult to customers, to the product's designers, and to the workers who made the binder itself.

Love it! Don't understand any negative reviews because I love this thing! My first one was stolen from my cart in the grocery store right under my nose (hope they enjoy it as much as I did!) so I immediately bought a replacement. I've used this one for years and it still looks brand-new! I've never had a problem with the clasp coming open or tearing in any way. It's held up beautifully. No it doesn't hold quite as much as some others do but I don't want the bulk that a larger planner would add. Hope this helps... buy it you won't regret it!
