Very good scanners. They work right out of the box. Just plug them in the USB port. Did not have to change any settings although it comes with a booklet that lets you customize the units to your liking (for example; automatic reading or trigger reading). All three units have been installed in paharmacy where they have to read many differente type of bar codes, post office codes, prescription codes, medicine codes, package codes, book codes and even phone and internet invoice codes. All I can say is they have never faultered and everyone is happy. They work so well you actually forget about them. They have blended in the work flow and just exist, lol. No worries about codes being read or not. To me, they look like quality buitl. they don't have that plastic toy look. :)Anyway, I recommended it to anyone who wants a scanner that really works faultlessly. Where we use them, they never faultered reading a bar code...

This is a good scanner at this price point, plus I had a positive customer experience with the Symcode rep. After about a month of mashing the trigger button like a game controller, it sorta caved in and no longer produced the usual "click" when depressed. It still worked but I figured it was on its way out. I assumed I'd have to order another, but I decided to reach out to Symcode anyway. After asking for a little more info, the rep replaced the scanner. It should be in the mail now and if I don't update this review, it means I received it. Aside from that, the scanner was pretty easy to set up. I've used it with my android phone without any issues (haven't tried it on my PC). It comes with a booklet in which you can find the codes to change settings. Personally, I turned off the sound and adjusted the sleep time to "never" so that it doesn't shut off on me. The battery has never died on me, which is more than I can say for some past scanners. I've found that if you leave it on and don't use it for extended periods, you may need to reconnect it with your phone, but it's only disconnected during actual use a couple times (equal to the other scanners I've used). It's larger than some of the premium scanners that would cost you 4x the price of this one, but I actually like the size. Maybe go with the smaller ones if you're trying to be super-discreet, but I don't see any need otherwise. I tended to drop or misplace the little ones more often due to their size. I think I saw a few reviews complaining about the batter compartment but I had no trouble with that. Maybe they've fixed the issue. I've also seen complaints about the customer service, but my experience was positive. They got back to me within 24 hours and resolved my issue within a day or two. TLDR: I found the scanner easy to use relative to others and a good value at this price point. When I broke one of the buttons with my fat fingers, Symcode replaced the scanner. For the price of a more premium scanner, you could buy four of these.

Ordered 3 of these to attach to our iPads for warehouse workers to use, they work and pair up easily. But wont read or has a hard time reading any bar-code with a dash - in them. Our higher end Symbol scanners read the bar-codes just fine and without hesitation. Not a huge deal but we are having to go around and remove dashes from certain items to make the scanners work effectively as we desired. Would be a 5 star review if they scanned all our Code 39 - Code 128 without issues.

this is the smallest dedicated barcode scanner I've used. It comes with a USB dongle to allow instant connection to a computer. Once plugged in, my Mac had to recognise it as a keyboard, and after that it has worked perfectly. It scans barcodes and enters them as text. the unit contains a removable rechargeable battery. It auto powers off after 5 minutes. Changes to operation of the device are programmed by scanning barcodes in the accompanying manual.

Bought the scanner to do some light weight scanning. The scanner worked great for about a month and then it would not turn on anymore. I tried contacting the seller but got no solution. Guess there is no warranty on this so buy at your own risk if you only want a scanner that lasts a few months.

The first challenge with this device is getting the battery into the thing. The battery door is apparently not made properly (other reviews are one star if they simply could not open it). Through the use of a small screwdriver prying it open, I was able to get the battery installed. After that, it works great. I paired it with my iPhone and was able to scan it typing. I then use the included UBD connector (Bluetooth I think) to connect it to Windows and it works great. The manual says you need to contact them for use with a PC, but it was a 2-3 minute thing to pair it with my laptop and then the scanned data 'types' into wherever you want in Windows.

Its covered in rubber and is able to sustain many drops.Scan wise, Its one of the best scanners I've tried. all too often do you need to be about 10cm away from the barcode for the scanner to recognise it. This on the other hand has no issues at all. It beeps without issue at 30cm, as the stock room isnt that big yet I've not really tried further but once I do i'll update this review.Transmission range is also quite good, better than bluetooth but The dream would be WiFi but thats asking a lot from a product! no issues with the battery life, I can do a stocktake with over a thousand items with this scanner without it even moaning about a low battery.All in all a great product.

Use these for inventory for tens of thousands of items. They work amazingly well. Only negative is they are so small and portable that it’s easy to forget it in your pocket and take it home. This is a me problem and not a scanner problem lol. Will buy more in the future if we have need.

Me gusta que es compacto y lo puedo llevar a todas partes. lo pude configurar rapidamente tanto en PC como con teléfono Android, pero cuando quise cargar un inventario, no leyo todos los codigos y en algunos casos tampoco leyo completos los codigos. he dejado de usarlo.
