Unusable and only 100mbps USB2
I bought this as it had lots of good reviews and I need 1gbps. What I have discovered is that it is only a 100mbps device and USB2, this is what someone else mentioned in review as he researched the board id and also deduced that it isn't really usable. Also its a slow 100mbps, 2.4ghz wifi via a mobile wifi card with no antennas plugged in somehow goes quicker! Weird! :)

Works okay
I notice straight away it has a very weak point where it bends and can cut out, can last longer with a little modification, basic quality

Seems to be good for the Switch
Using it on the Switch. Seems to help keep connection better than WiFi.

NOT actually GIGABIT capable - 10/100 max (fast ethernet) - needs USB 2.0 chipset drivers loading.
Bought as described as USB 3.0 and 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) adapter.Has a USB 3.0 connector, USB 3.0 & Gigabit Lan stickers but is NOT actually USB 3.0 or 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) capable. On (Win 10) insertion the adapter is not recognised but a DVD drive appears with an old style inf, icon & driver & a yellow led lights on the RJ45 port.If you install the driver and wait, you lose all lights on the RJ45 port and gain a slow network connection. When checked (Win+x) you are told the device is a Corechip SR9000 USB2.0 to Fast Ethernet Adapter.Run a speedtest against it and it is flat out at 98 Meg - 10/100 speed.NOT AS DESCRIBED.
