I purchased these dishes early prime day for a fantastic price. I knew the quality would be top notch because my mom has had this brand of dishes for 20+ years, and same dishes used daily for that same amount of time with only a few damages. The dishes are heavy duty, have a gorgeous floral pattern and are functional for daily use. They are heavy to handle, but I like that they’re not too delicate for everyday use. The size of the plates are perfect for a generous meal, the two-style bowls are great, one being perfect for pasta, dinner salads or stews, while the other bowl will be excellent for cereal, side salads, or dessert. I inspected each piece and they were packaged exceptionally with zero damages. Extremely pleased! Hope my review helped someone!

This was the first complete set of dishware I've bought in decades. I wanted something versatile to serve family dinners and company. I searched quite a lot for something I felt was a good fit, that I could live with, that would enhance the nourishing meals I wanted to serve. They arrived in just a couple of days, packed carefully in cardboard, no plastic or styrofoam which is really important to me. And they are beautiful. I love the weight of them in my hand, and the floral design, embossed exterior on the bowls, and bronze rims are both elegant and soothing. I am pleased this set didn't come with cups, as I have a wonderful collection and had no need of them. The pasta bowls are my favorite; I just had a supper of poached salmon and sautéed broccoli in one, and it brought a smile to my face. As others have said, they would serve beautifully as salad bowls. The only thing I would change is the swirl design on the plates. It's unnecessary and detracting. I'd like them better without it, just the floral print as the bowls have. But all in all, I couldn't be happier with my choice. I can't wait to have my kids over for a special meal.

It was a wedding present for our neighbor. She was extremely happy chasing me down to show how nice the dishes were. Pfaltzgraff is an old-time quality company, these are "prettier" than the traditional ones from the manufacture.

Most beautiful pattern I have ever seen! Love the size of the pieces. Great for everyday use. No harm done when cleaned in dishwasher. Please don’t let this one get away!

Beautiful set!

This is my second set of dishes, I noticed the design on the new set was lighter then the ones I already have. A few of the smaller bowls also have small cracks on the Bottoms, and I noticed the set I already had also now is starting to have cracks. I noticed too that the labels or imprints on the Bottoms are off centered on almost all of the dishes. but that does not bother me since I doubt people will want to stare at the bottom of the dishes. Over all they look great, the lighter coloring I can live with, just wish they didn't have so many cracks in the bottom. I'm nervouse they may not last or hold up very long.

I like these dishes a lot , the two styles of bowls and beautiful plates, although a bit on the heavier side but not really too heavy.
